It says Rapala ... moreDowndeep Ireland on the front end that looks like a spoon thing attached to the front of the lure. Lure is dark grey and silver colored and there is a little bit of discoloration on the lure itself and on the hooks but it doesn’t seem to have any use marks. Measures approx 4 ½ inches long(not counting the hooks) Second is a Rapala Downdeep and says on the front end that looks like a spoon thing“ Rapala Downdeep Finland” Lure is blue on top and sort of a purple on the bottom and the fornt end spoon like thing is sort of yellow in color. There are use marks on the lure and the hooks are discolored. Measures approx 4 ½ inches long not counting the hooks. Third is a Rapala and says on the spoon like looking thing in the front of the lure“Rapala Deep Runner 8 Finland” The lure is green on top with a squiggle type design and orange on the bottom and yellow on the sides. There is some discoloration on the hooks but the lure seems to be in good condition. Lure measures approx 4 inches not counting the lure. The fourth lure has writing on the spoon type thing on the front but it is hard to read but think it says Rebel Double Deep Shad Pat Pend. Lure is sort of dark brownish grey on top and sort of yellow on the bottom with a large orange dot on the bottom. The lure has some use marks on the spoon and a tiny amount of discoloration on the lure but it seems to be in good condition. The lure measures approx 3 ¾ inches long. Can be sent in USPS small flat rate priority box for $6.15. Please note…my husband had a huge amount of fishing things and I will be listing a lot of fishing items for the next few months but also please note I know absolutely nothing about fishing things and will try my best to describe them but please consider everything as is and also please know that the descriptions are NOT expert and only what I see as a non fishing person. Up for bid is a very nice old lure from Al Foss. It comes on it's original card. It is in excellent condition. I do not believe it has ever been used because if it was they wouldn't have kept the card. There is a little tarnish on the hook from age. The eyes are red and perfect. This was Al Foss's first Little Egypt style lure. It has the Colorado Spinner with Barrel style swivels. The back of the card has instructions on how to use it. The card is in wonderful condition as you can see in the pictures. You don't see these very often in this condition on it's original card. There just is not very many out there. This is the first one I have ever seen in many years.

It has a thumb nail slide door on one side to retreive coupons and the hole in front to deposit them. Really cool and unusual find. Remains of label on front and back with the lettering from original box on top. 2 Star coupons were with the box. One for Star milk and the other Star soap. Vintage Spinnerbait Lot Pflueger No. 6 Al Foss Shimmy No. 6 Patented 1918 1919
A couple of cool old spinnerbaits here. The larger one is marked PFLUEGER 6. It is in good condition and is free of rust. The smaller one was made by Al Foss and is a Shimmy No. 6. It has patent date of 1918 and 1919. Foss got his first patent in 1915 and was a champion tournament caster who did not like the large lure manufacturer's big multi-hook contraptions. His lures were very successgul for the next 3 decades. The Pflueger is about 6-1/2" long and the Foss is 4-1/4" long. It has a treble hook fitted onto the single hook. It is missing one of it's hooks and I don't know if the lure was originally made like this. Shipping weight will be 3 ounces. Please check out my! Features the classic Foss Musky adjustments, with a free swinging blade arm and reinforced hook mounting on the back of the lure body. Vintage Al Foss Shimmy # 6 Plus 3 Vintage Feather Jigs
Here's a vintage Al Foss Shimmy# 6 that has seen a lot of fishing enjoyment. It's a little rusted but still has the patent mark from 1918. Along with that. I have 3 vintage feather jigs with about the same amount of wear. they came from the same Florida tackle box) The feathers look great, but the paint is peeling from the lead. Haddock, Lincoln & Foss, small engraved coin silver mug
Here’s an old coin silver mug from Haddock. Lincoln& Foss. Also marked coin and Boston. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Beyond knowing it’s been in the family for a long time I don’t know much else about it. You can see it was engraved as a memento of some sort with Eva and 1867 centered and Sonny and 1917 below. It is 3 ¾ inches tall and the opening is 2 15/16 inches across. The handle is fairly plain and the upper rim is beaded. We did not polish it. So as not to risk scratching it. I’ve looked around for similar pieces and haven’t found much for comparison so I’m going to run this as an auction and let people who know more about silver figure out a fair price. Donaldson Art Sign Company The Donaldson Art Sign Company in Covington and the Donaldson Lithography Company in Newport can be traced back to a partnership between William M. Donaldson and Henry Elms. These two entrepreneurs began a small lithography business in Cincinnati on August 10. 1863. By the end of the first year of operation, the firm owned and operated seven hand printing ... morepresses. With the death of Mr. Elms in 1872, the business became the sole property of Donaldson. The company was officially incorporated as the Donaldson Lithograph Co. in 1883. The company moved to the City of Newport. Kentucky in 1898, and was housed in the old Duber Watch Case Company facility(6th and Washington Streets) The company flourished in its Newport location. By 1913, plans were underway to expand the firm. William M. Donaldson acquired the old Central Covington Stockyards at 21st and Banklick Streets. Plans called for a 50,000 square foot building that would eventually employ 200 workers. The dimensions of the building, designed by architect Bernard T. Wisenall, were 160’ x 140’ The cost of construction reached the sum of nearly $100,000. Work on the new plant was begun in August 1914. At the Covington facility, lithography work was done on iron, tin, glass and other metals. The Newport location continued in operation and did lithography work on paper and muslin.
