Very Nice Used 6’ 6” Lt. Action Abu Garcia Graphite Spinning Fishing Rod #GR 66S
It’s in very good used condition. It’s a two piece rod that measures 6 ft. 6 in. It’s light action and will handle lure weights of 1/8 to 3/8 oz and lines from 2 to 10 lb. test. I see no scratches. Scrapes, mars anywhere on the blanks or handle. The handle and fore grip are padded and have no damage such as cuts, scrapes, etc. It’s not warped. The guides, wrappings and tip-top are original and secure. It’s very clean. This will make an excellent walleye rod and I know you’ll like it as much as I do. Sorry about the glare in the close-up photos. Rod will be shipped in a very hard cardboard shipping tube of commercial strength. Shipping weight is 2 lb. 6 oz. Fishing Up for consideration is a vintage Garcia Mitchell 300. 6th version spinning reel made in the early 60's. The foot of this reel bares serial number 3128565. The reel comes with an original case marked The Garcia Group. Mechanically, this reel functions flawlessly. Cosmetically, the reel is very nice for it's age and shows only minor paint wear as seen in the photos. The case to the reel does show some age and is marked on the edge with a previous owners name. Abu Garcia 6000c. I was told this reel is a 1992 model; second release of the black 6000c produced between 1973 and 1977. The black beveled sideplates was seen on all those reels and chrome power handle probably on the `77 model only.The reel shows some scratches on both plates; It is a very nice used reel.Foot#85-88 89 indicates this is the infamous ``85`` reel possibly produced only as a rod& reel combo.This has the chrome side caps. Chrome power handle, 4.7 high speed gears, and 2 ss ball bearings. this has the identical reel schematic of the `70`s stlyle reel except the others are 3.75 gears and even though it was mfg. much later. This could be considered high on the collector list. I have no idea how many were produced; possibly 1992 and none thereafter.There is very little difference between this reel and a 6500c. Measures approx. 2 1/2" diameter and 2 1/2" across front face. This brown. Vintage Garcia ABU Ambassadeur Casting Reel was manufactured in Sweden in 1976, according to the lot number on the reel. This reel comes with the original box and book. The box says the following about this reel: Fast retrieve: Large capacity spool. Dual-grip power handles. Hand honed floating bushings. Two sets of brakes-centrifugal and mechanical for backlash control. This reel belonged to my dad who passed away 13 years ago. It was stored securely with his other fishing gear in one of his tackle boxes. He didn't do a great deal of fishing, so that's probably why it is in such good shape.

Included is the original pamphlet.The reel's line I think is original as well. The Kingly Crown is more sharp and legible than I have seen. It isn't all yuchie! There are minimal boat rub.
