Vintage 5 Hook Heddon NO 150 Perch Scale Lure Yellow Green with Box
I am offering for sale a vintage Heddon 150 Lure in the box. I believe this is called Perch Scale in a Yellow and Green finish. The lure looks like it was barely used if at all. There are 5 hooks and it measures about 3 3/4 inches long. There is a tiny tiny fleck to the finish on the top of the lure. It looks like a ding from one of the hooks. Heddon is on all fins of both front and back spinners. The box is in great condition as well. No paper loss. Clean bright colors and structurally sound. Vintage Heddon 150 Fishing Lure. Early Bar Perch. Tough Color and Condition.
Hard to find early Bar Perch Heddon 150. Cup rig. Narrow body with name on props. This lure was made around 1913-14. I have collected Heddon Minnows for 18 years and this is the only one I have owned. It has heavy age lines, chips to the paint by hardware on both ends, a hook drag mark on one side, one cracked eye and shows plenty of wear. Still, it has all the paint on the top and bottom and is should still grade well enough to be in someone's collection. I think this lure looks better in the hand than in the photo's. Offered is this 1929 James Heddon Dowagiac 105 FF Fly Reel in beautiful working condition. This is an older model 105-FF with thumb drag/brake and nice Bakelite handles. Condition is Excellent. Has been used but it was well taken care of. Work very smoothly and the thumb brake/drag has very good spring to it and the leather pad is all present. Marked as shown in the pictures. This is a outstanding example of a old HEDDON 150 DOWAGIAC five hook minnow. Colors are still so vibrant. Spinners are signed DOWAGIAC HEDDON. Hardware is in great shape. Measures approx. 5" long. I really don't think this plug ever hit the water. Shows it's age with the crazing as shown. Only a small area of scratches. Close up. This lure will only enhance your collection and the price is certainly right.

They appear to have had minimal use. Hooks are clean, very minor stains to the two piece hardware, propellers have minimal staining, and there are no cracks to the glass eyes. If you need any of this hardware, from hooks, to hook rigging to propellers here you go. Or take off the rest of the paint and have a paint less example of these early Heddon lures.
