EARLY HEDDON 150 FISHING LURE GREEN FANCY BACK Presented for your consideration is this{EARLY HEDDON 150 FISHING LURE IN GREEN FANCY BACK COLOR PATTERN FROM AROUND1908. The150 is 4-1/4 inches long made of wood with unmarked nickel props. The lure also is a 5 hooker with screw eye hook hanger. The eyes are perfect yellow iris made of glass with 3 hand painted gill marks on the bottom of its nose. The paint is still on the belly weight but there is a paint chip on both sides of its nose plus on the tail.There is some age crazing on both sides of the lure with this old classic in very good plus condition. This lure belonged to a 101 year old Michigan Fisherman who Fished and hunted is whole life. I will be listing a few more of his classic lures. Vintage Heddon 150 Green Crackle Back Aluminum Belly Cup Rig TOUGH COLOR
Up for auction is a vintage Heddon 150 in a very tough green crackle back/aluminum belly finish. This has cup rig hardware. A marked front prop and an un-marked rear prop. The paint is on the belly weight. I would say that this in in VG condition. This is the same color way that is pictured on the bottom left of page 91 of The Heddon Legacy book. As is typical with Heddon aluminum finishes the color has tinted a bit green with age but is still quite clearly aluminum; it looks better in person.
