Up for sale is this Wooden Crazy Crawler fishing lure made by Heddon out of Dowagiac. Michigan. It was introduced in the 1940's(this one was a very early example because of the Donaly rigged clips) and is Series number 2100. The lure is 2.75" long, the lure has two-piece hardware, the eyes are painted, and the color of the lure is the very desirable glow worm. The lure is marked under the head. Overall, I would rate this lure in Fair shape. Some of the glow paint has rubbed off, there is a large chip under the tail, and there some pointers. Vintage Heddon-Dowagiac Crazy Crawler Flocked Gray Mouse 2120 GM Correct Box
Up for your consideration is this 1940's Heddon-Dowagiac Crazy Crawler Flocked Gray Mouse with leather ears and tail in it's correct box. It is catalog number 2120 GM and is marked Heddon Crazy Crawler in red on it's belly. The flocked body is gray on top and the belly is a lighter gray to grayish white color. The ears and tail are in very good condition and the red and black eyes are also in good condition. One eye has a larger red mark that the other. This lure has never been used. But there is light ageing evident on the flocking. There is a spot near the back where the flocking feels kind of rubbed. My close up pictures and bright flash exaggerate the glue around the ears and the one larger red eye. Neither are that obvious in reality. The box shows some shelf wear and ageing, with rubbing on the corners and edges. The lower ... moreleft hand corner of the top has the most rubbing. The metal fins and trebles are in good shape, with some oxidation and light rust on the screws of the body hardware. There is a little brownish stain on the under body by the treble mount near the tail. The box end is marked 1.50, the original price of this lure.

I am offering for sale a vintage wood Heddon Crazy Crawler Lure in the box. I believe this is what is called the Silver Shore. The lure looks like it was barely used if at all. There are 2 hooks and it measures about 2 1/2 inches long. The finish looks great. I am not seeing any dings on the finish. The box is in great condition as well. The box has no paper loss. Has clean bright colors and is structurally sound. Please review my pictures carefully for more details. I am not an expert with vintage lures so if I am missing a detail let me know.
