These old lures have some wear that can be seen in the pictures. Corrosion on the hooks, and some cracking and some chips that I've tried to show in the pictures. They are both wood, older, and have glass eyes. They both are also about 4 1/2" long. Please have a good look at the pictures to evaluate the condition for yourself. Up for auction is a plastic. Vintage Vamp Spook model 9750 RH fishing lure manufactured by Heddon. Bait measures 4-1/4" Bait color pattern is white with red head. Paint on this bait is very nice with my only comment is that the back has a couple tiny marks on its back.possible box wear. On the belly is stenciled in black"HEDDON VAMP SPOOK" Bait sports surface hook hangers. All hardware is present, intact, bright and shiney although I note light corrosion on the hooks. Eyes are black on gold. Box lid has some light edge wear with bright graphics. Nice. Box top and bottom are square and solid with no corner tears. This listing is for a beautiful old Heddon Vamp lure. The lure is made of wood. Has glass eyes and L-Rig hardware. The lure has some age lines, pointers and wear(mostly on belly) but I feel it's in very nice condition(see photos) This lure has a beautiful color and finish. The box it's in is labeled for a jointed vamp 7309P(see last photo) Lure is stamped Heddons Dowagiac on the diving lip and it's a great lure with a lot of show and shine. Up for auction is a rare. Wooden,vintage Giant Vamp model 7550PAS fishing lure manufactured by Heddon intended to catch pike, musky and saltwater species. Heavy duty bait by design. Bait measures 5-3/4" Bait color pattern is the rare Allen Stripey. The paint on this bait is gorgeous although there is very light paint crazing on the belly. I note that the"Allen" stripe is prominent on the right side and lesser on the left.rare factory oversight. Unique. Only has box wear with a very small dent on the belly from the round of a hook.not the point. Hook hangers are of the cup style reinforced by the through body screws. Hardware has light corrosion. Eyes are black on gold. On the belly is stenciled in gold"HEDDON GIANT VAMP" Box lid has some light edge wear, some minor dings, fairly bright graphics and is in pretty good ... moreshape other than where it looks like someone tore off a price tag in the center of the lid. Here is a old stock fishing lure. Large White spots are camera glare. This is a RARE Heddon fishing lure with Glass Eyes. Not sure of the color code and a unknown fishing lure code but sure the old heddon baits collector will know the code. The color of the Heddon Baby Vamp is a Black Back with Green Checkered looking sides on a Cream belly. The belly of the old wooden lure is marked HEDDON BABY VAMP in Gold letters. The wood heddon lure body is about 3 1/2" long not counting the marked metal lure lip or the rear hook. The metal lip is marked Heddon Dowagiac in cursive writing. The old wooden lure is used but a rare color to find and these are getting even harder to find with the L hook hangers pat in 1915. The metal hard wear is in good condition and the wood body has age lines but still a tuff heddon plug to find. The old wood lure ... morehas a under chin line tie. One of the glass eyes has a tiny age line through it but still nice. The old wood lure has a Pin in the nose. This is a tough find in that the model was discontinued very early by Heddon and was a great fish-catcher. Few have survived. Bait measures 4-1/2" and weighs 4/5 oz. Bait color pattern is pike scale.
