BLACK AMETHYST 19TH C DERBYSHIRE ENGLAND VASE 7-1/2" Unusual 19th century English Black Amethyst Pressed Glass Vase. I believe the maker is J. Derbyshire& Company(see"Decorative Victorian Glass by Cyril Manley. Page 106, figure 386) There are no markings. The black glass has a deep amethyst glow under the light. The vase is a complex design with panels of roses, thistles and shamrocks. The rim is scalloped. The bottom has a band of the Greek Key design and three fabulous figural lion feet. This piece is 7 1/2" high, 2 3/4" across at the top and 3 1/2" at the widest point. It is in very good estate condition but does have an old repair on one foot which does not distract from the piece, and it sits evenly. Late 19c German Drersden Sitzendorf tri footed candlestick, very possibly a base to a comport with lion paw feet and greek goddess style faces on each side. The stick stands around 7" high, 5" across the base feet with no chips or cracks. The base is marked with the Sitzendorf cross mark, dating circa 1890, a well modelled piece of Dresden and still usable as a candlestick. A low start with UK p/p £5.95p recorded delivery.

Mid 1800's Crotch mahogany Dresser Heavily carved. 3/4 carved columns Size: 52" tall. 49" wide, 24" deep This dresser has wide boards. Top board is is 23 1/2" x48 1/2" Sides have 19 1/2" wide boards 7 drawers: 3 over 4 12 glass pulls Top drawers has a veneer band around the edges. Hairy carved lion paw feet. Fine dovetail drawers open smoothly. In great condition for the age. Back boards need to be better secured. A few minor imperfections on the piece but overall beautiful for an 1800's dresser! I prefer local pickup but would be open to working with buyers supplied transport for pickup.

Finally identified as a Shaw and Clark. Paw Foot Empire with most of hand painting still there. Base(foot to foot) measures 11 1/2" x 8" All parts. PAW Pottery Vase Rare by Paul Wranitzky
I offer this stunning and scarce antique PAW art pottery vase by Moravian potter Paul Wranitzky decorated in the‘Blossom’ pattern and dating from around 1890-1905. This tall rounded bulbous shaped pottery vase has a narrow funnel shaped top and is decorated with a band heavily decorated in coloured enamels with a leaf and blossom design. The design is painted in green. Brown and blue glazes against a cobalt/navy ground and set within a green surround with small relief moulded white dot designs. The vase has an impressed PAW mark to the base along with further impressed marks. These vases have been compared in their style and design to Aller Vale and certainly are of similar quality and appearance. A rare find and a wonderful example to add to any quality collection

BRADLEY HUBBARD LILY PAD AND LION PAW BASE - ART NOUVEAU PAINTED SHADE
BRADLEY HUBBARD ART NOUVEAU REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP This auction is for a Bradley Hubbard lamp with reverse painted paneled shade. The base clearly shows the BH logo and has open metal work at the base around the lions feet and lily pads. The top final. Probably a pineapple, seems to match the metal at the top of the 3 lite cluster and is probably original to the base. This base stands about 22" tall, not including the finial. The 3 light cluster appears to have had atleast one socket replaced in the past and the lamp has been entirely rewired and fully functioning. The metal shows signs of wear and light surface rust in a few small areas, mostly around the toes of the paws and edges of the base. The shade is a ribbed bent panel glass with reverse painting. The framework supporting the panels is quite thick and sturdy and extremely ... moreunusual in shape. I did not find the BH mark on the shade. But neither did I remove any panels. If it exists, it is probably beneath the glass up around the vent cap. I strongly suspect that this is the original shade, although I found no reference to either the signed base or the shade in any catalogs or books. This shade rises about 5" high and has an 18" Wide outer diameter. All the panels are bent and reverse painted. The shade appears to be in very good structural condition but shows significant paint loss, mostly to the 3" wide glass skirt. Fortunately, the most significant loss is regulated on adjacent panels with 1/2 showing some loss and the other 1/2 showing significant loss. So, it'looks' better against a wall then in the'round' The shade is almost'true' showing acceptable variances and none of the glass is cracked. The lamp is suitable for use as is and has great'character' It is also a candidate for restoration and there is enough of the painted art nouveau. Wm. Morris type design remaining to restore the shade to original appearance. This shade will ship double boxed and oversized as it requires special considerations

Very Ornate, Beautiful Oak Victorian Lion Head, Paw Foot Mirrored Ice Box Icebox
Pictured is a beautifully restored victorian ornate. highly carved) oak lion head, paw foot, bevelled mirrored parlor ice box. This ice box resided only in homes of the very wealthy and actually were displayed in the dining room area instead of the kitchen. This ice box has over 20 hand carved pieces on the two front doors, nice detailed lion head carvings and two large paw feet. All of these carvings were hand made by highly skill woodworkers in the 1890's. The columns on the sides are really nice oak rope carvings that are below each lion head and extends down to the top of each paw foot. Underneath the top ledge are unusual oak trim with heart style carvings on all three sides. The bevelled mirror is in great shape, no chips, scratches or hazeThis ice box is solid oak and has never been painted before. A lot of the ice boxes that you ... moresee listed were painted before and when finished, they have a washed out appearance from the paint still present in the grain of the wood. Ornate Lion Paw, Lion Head Antique Mahogany Victorian Unusual Wall Shelf
The most unusual highly detailed little shelf I've ever seen. Lion head and paws all intricately carved. Shelf is highly detailed. A small oil on Masonite unsigned painting sits behind the glass.
