The glass ink pots have a sterling top and sits in the center of a rectangular inkstand with raised edge. Between the two ink pots is a hinged oval stamp or sand box. The inkstand measures 2 inches or 5 cm high at the back. And is just less than 8 1/4 inches or 21 cm by 6 inches or 15 cm. The silver weighs 13.3 troy ounces. This weight does not include the sterling attached to the two ink pots. The inkstand features a large rectangular base with high sides all around. The four animal paw feet are well defined. The glass of the two ink pots is cut crystal in t a diamond cut pattern. The ink pots and centered stamp box are all hinged. There are two well holders in front and back ... morefor resting your pen. Solid, heavy iron. Circa 1880s. Condition is very good to excellent. They have been stripped of paint& brushed. No cracks. There is one foot with a chip on the top left and some water w ear. That same foot has a small chip on its f lange w hich w on't impair installation. They are completely ready to install or be painted or plated to your liking. Two of these feet measure 5" tall and the other two measure 4 5/8" tall. This is so your tub will drain. The flange on reverse measures 3 1/2" long. It is 1 3/4" wide(at the widest) and tapers to 1" wide. It is 7/8" thick(at the thickest) and tapers to 1/2" thick at the ... moreend. Vintage or Antique Hall Borchert Adjustable Cast Iron Paw Foot Dress Form
This is a truly great old dress form stand. It does not have the actual form. It is just the stand for it. I think some people repurpose these for lamps or bird cages and it would be very unique for either one. The old cast iron base has embossing on each leg. They are embossed with Hall Borchert Dress Form Co. New York, and Chicago. The paw feet sit on top of small casters for rolling the form around. There is an old cast iron pedal that is in working condition and is used to release the lock for raising and lowering the stand. The iron pole at it's lowest point is 40 inches from the floor to the tip. When raised to its maximum height it is 65.5 inches from the floor. The cast iron base of the stand measures about 18 inches from the tip of one foot to the tip of the opposite foot, just to give you an idea of the size. This Paw-Paw Frog lure is approximately 4" long. That's not including the length of the hooks, Body Only" It is all intact. The joints are screwed to lure, made of wood and the eyes are painted on. Some surface cracking and most of the hook hair is gone" see pictures" The color is overall a faded yellow. Belly is a faded white, speckled with green and black. Birks Pierced Sterling Silver Dish with Paw Feet
This lovely sterling silver dish was made by Birks. A Canadian silver company established in the 1870's. The dish has a navette shape with a Rococo border and pierced design. The bowl sits on 4 very detailed paw feet. This piece measures 6" x 4" x 2" and has no monograms, dents or bends. The Birks name and"Sterling" are stamped at the bottom of the piece in addition to 3 small symbols and 7/18. There is some black spotting on the inside bowl which has been photographed. This is a great looking Art Nouveau/Art Deco style gooseneck table or desk lamp. When I got the lamp it was in pretty bad shape. But it looks fantastic now. The lion's paw base and flexible arm have been painted with bronze-colored satin-finish spray paint. The shade has been painted with a champagne satin-finish spray paint. A standard bulb will fit the lamp but one is not included with the purchase. The lamp has been rewired with UL listed materials. The overall condition of this item is excellent. Offered for your consideration is a VINTAGE BLOWN GLASS URN OR VASE circa 1900-1 930 measuring 5 1/2" tall with a 3 3/4"diameter white Cararea marble base. The glass is supported by three PAIRPOINT brass lion heads and paws. One of the lions legs underside is stamped with PAIRPOINT and NUMBER C1510. I had to remove the brass from the marble base to find the name and number on the underside of the leg(see the photo# 10) This piece has a seeded glass urn/vase shape that is trimmed with silver. Also. The vase has three hand painted enamel flowers, each a different flower and each a different color. A very unusual piece and very beautiful. Only a small nick in the marble as seen in photo# 9. Amazing Wilcox silverplated basket probably brides basket. It measures 9 1/2" by 9" and is 2 1/2" tall and is in very good condition. No wear that I can see and beautifully polished. Raised grape and leaf and vine decoration in bottom of basket. Beautiful leaf and flower highly raised decorations all around the inside with cutout designs. Highly decorated paw feet with shield decoration all around outside bottom. Twisted knot handle. As shown in photos one of the silverplate balls on one side of the handle is missing. It took me a while to notice it and its not structurally necessary. Handle does not stand up on its own. Its quadruple plated and is heavy weighing 2 1/2" lbs. An amazing basket in great condition. You are bidding on a vintage PAW PAW BAIT CO OF PAW PAW. MICHIGAN mouse fishing lure with box. The lure is in excellent condition with one slight crazing line on the underside of the chin, tack eyes, deer fur on body and tail, the lure measures 2.5" body only not including tail or hardware 3" in length including tail. The paw paw box is the orange, black and white one with the man in the boat fishing. The box is in good condition it has one 1/4" seperation on the corner, with minor wear from age. A terrific addition to a collection. Shipping listed is for first class post. I thank you for looking and happy collecting. I have had many questions regarding the box markings. Early Paw Paw did not mark the end of the box. In addition to this. I am a MOUSE specialist, this is the primary area that I collect, I have added three additio ... morenal ph otos.
