But one of my books identifies the hook attachments on the three ... morelures with the side holes as having been used by Pflueger about 1928. The book also indicates that Heddon used similar hook attachment types. Lot includes: 1) Yellow lure with 4 1/4 inch long body and three holes in each side. Holes angle forward and at least the rear two are connected. All three of the lures with side holes have a swivel attachment on the front. This lure is in pretty good condition, with only a couple lines of crazing and light soiling. 2) Another 4 1/4 inch lure similar to number one. This lure only has one belly hook. A screw on the bottom front apparently attaches to the device that holds the swivel. There is a tiny hole drilled in the bottom front that would allow the attachment of a second hook. I don't know if lure ever had a second belly hook or not. Lure has scales on back and applied glitter on sides. Lure has some paint crazing, a couple tiny chips on the front, and a spot of soiling on the back. 3) Smaller 3 1/16 inch long lure similar to first two, but with two holes each side. One rear hook, one belly hook. Letters"et" on bottom. Jet? Scales on sides. Good paint with some crazing lines. Some soiling left side. 4) Yellow popper with 2 1/4 inch long body. Some paint wear on front, some paint crazing, some soiling. Please inspect my photos for condition details. Check out my! I am listing a few more lots of old lures. $8 covers packaging. You are bidding on a good used vintage Pflueger top water lure with a Bulldog on the front propeller. This lure is approx. 4 1/2' long overall with 3 hooks. And a front and rear propeller. there are some knicks and scratches on this lure from normal usage. As you can see in the pictures there is a spot of missing paint on the bottom side of it. The lure with three treble hooks has the Sunfish Scale. A wide dark band extends along its back and the belly is orange. Each of the scaled sides have five vertical green bands separated by yellow. There are four red gills and the eyes are painted yellow and black. This is a portion of a lure collection maintained by a former Akron Pflueger production manager. It's in good condition. This Muskill lure is out of a tackle box that was full of lures from the 1940's and 1950's. Lure measures approximately 8 inches in overall length. Spoon measures 3 inches logn. I believe this to be a Spinner for a PFLUEGER lure of some kind. It is made of bronze in the shape of a heart& silver plated& marked PFLUEGER 1-1/2 on one side and has a rounded groove down the length of the other side.
