rats nest template The Pflueger Mustang No. 8902 Size 4 1/4 lure is unused. The front side of the metal lip has the indented words PFLUEGER MUSTANG MADE IN USA. The lure with three treble hooks has a Red Side- Scale finish. The back is dark and the sides have a silver scale pattern separated by gray above and red below. The belly is white. There are four red gills and the eyes are painted yellow and black. The lure is essentially in Mint condition and is a portion of a lure collection maintained by a former Akron Pflueger production manager. Sign measures 9 5/8" wide by 13 3/4" high. The condition of this piece remains original with no restoration, sign shows some blemishes and surface and edge wear but overall has a really nice look to it, see photos for detail. Early Akron OH made wooden Pflueger Globe#3750 5 1/4" Musky Lure in the original box. The photos illustrate the condition of both lure and box. They are both used and show this usage. The lure looks like it likely hooked a few Muskies and the hooks have some discoloration. The box is tattered and has been repaired with some clear tape and some glue on the inside. The insert in the bottom indicates the correct lure but has the color#3796 which is red& white. I'm guessing somewhere in the past the top was put onto different bottom. Still a neat old Pflueger fishing lure collectible. Low opening bid.

The bone lure is 4 inches long with no cracks or splits, the double hook is wrapped and held in place with a large copper rivet.
