Line guide, worm gear, and drag all work well. Clicker button engages and dis-engages properly. Clicker is loud. This reel is complete no missing parts. Cosmetics: Minor scratches. The spool. Side covers, and foot are all are very clean. As you inspect reel you can see I have not made any modification. Disassembled or cleaned this reel in any way. This is the way I bought it. Please note I am not the original owner; I picked this one up from an auction awhile back. Paid too much of course. My loss can be your gain! This is a used Pflueger Supreme. Right handed, high speed baitcast reel; Model SUPREME ELP. Mechanically its in perfect condition; it has very slight boat rash as can be seen in one of the photos. As you know, the Supreme Model is the top of the line reel that Pflueger sells. This is a precision reel that featured 11 stainless steel shielded bearings, gear ratio of 6.3:1, Titanian line guide, dual braking system(mechanical and centrifigal) multi-disk drag system with audible star nut adjustment and a forged aluminum handle, with soft touch bearing knobs. Nice example of this reel. Needs a little cleaning. But runs fine. Overall very nice. Freespool, drag, baitclicker and anti reverse all seem to work fine. Not likely it was fished much. Also includes leather case(not sure if original to reel) manual, wrench, and a set of"EZ Grips" still perfectly soft) A great addition to your collection, or take it fishing. This is how I found this reel. I have done nothing to it. It came in a leather case that I do not believe was made by Pflueger. It is old as well and reel fits very nicely. Reel has 500 on foot. Pat. dates 1450738 some others then last one is 1608287. I think this reel was made in the mid 1930s. It has no cracks in metal or side plates, very little abuse seen. Pflueger Hawkeye Fly Reel 100 Yds--Nice
This is a nice Pflueger Hawkeye fly reel in the less common 100 yd size. There are no cracks or chips on the reel. And it shows only minor wear. It's been used, has not been excessively cleaned, and there is still evidence of old fly line residue on the spool. Other than some oiling and adjusting. It is in great condition for its age. The gears are good, drag works well. I was able to spool about 170yrds of 10lb mono on the spool.
