Lure is missing the rear hook and if there was a pc. of hook hardware with the rear hook it is gone as well. Marked on bottom: heddon tiny punkinseed.both eyes have dot sized paint missing as well as the highest places on lure,red dots are gone on one side of body as well but this little lure will still display well! Vintage Heddon Punkinseed Spook 9630 BGL Lure in Box w/Advertising Fold Out
We are selling a vintage. Heddon, Punkinseed Spook lure in its original box. The lure is 9630 BGL. It is blue gill colored with two treble hooks. I have taken photos showing both sides and top and bottom to show the condition. I am not a collector or fisherman but the hook tines or ends seem quite sharp and without any corrosion. The box is in good condition with no structural problems and only some dirt and dark spots from use and storage in a tackle box and a worn area in the color on top in the middle of the Heddon name. Inside the box is a fold out advertising paper for other Heddon lures on one side and for Heddon rods and reels on the other side. Shipping costs via first class mail are $2.50.

Heddon 740 Series Punkinseed - wood - 1940 to 1943 XLT condition
Heddon 740 Series Punkinseed from 1940 to 1943 XLT condition. I believe this wooden Punkinseed is in the bluegill color pattern- very attractive lure. It has a very slight indent(about 1/4 inch on top left side) A very slight tackle box rub on the middle of the left side and half the belly weight paint is missing(all can be seen in the pictures) but this lure is in excellent condition considering the age. Notice the lettering on belly is labeled in opposite directions- this may be unusual or rare? The body of the lure is approximately 2 1/2 inches in length. The Lure still has the hang tag from the day I purchased it in 93. This is a very collectible and desirable lure. W/paper, 4 different colors described below, about 2-1/8" long, surface rig hook hardware,in correct new boxes, each with a certificate of authenticity for. Each belly on these c. 2005 lures is marked with a red dot hole(see pictures) to help distinguish them from older versions. Lures and boxes are in mint un-used condition. 1. Ultra Rare Heddon Hinged Copper Paint Mask for Crappie Punkinseed Fishing Lure
I will be posting another group of vintage fishing lures from my collection. I have been collecting for over 40 years and it is time for some of these to have a new home. I hope you treasure them as much as I have. I came across this fine collectable some years ago at a Lure show. This is a rare Heddon 730/9630(as marked on the mold) hinged copper paint mask. This was designed for the crappie lure with spot finish. And is in fine condition with some minor discoloration from age. A great piece of Heddon Punkinseed history.
