The guides as well as the hook keeper appear to me to be intact and tightly wound. Please check out the photos carefully. As I don't know much about rods. The cork grip appears very good, there is a small chip out of the cork on the end. It has no tube or case, nor a cloth sock. I think this is about 70 years old. The black plastic on the cork handle will move from end to about 40% down cork toward rod. On silver end of rod next to end knob: 22761, J.J.S. Walker Bampton& Co. of Alnwick, Makers, Steel Centre. There are two red reinforcements which I believe to be original to the rod. Additionally. There is a white reinforcement at end of the second piece which I think is not original(photo 12) I put together 3 pieces, and they fit tight. The canvas pouch is stained and some would clean. The bamboo rod has no number markings anywhere just the Heddon badge. It is in great condition with some signs of wear. Comes with original carry bag. The other pole is marked 3151-12-0-L It is also in really good shape. There are a few chips on the rod but not to bad. Also comes with Heddon original case.
