1920-30's VINTAGE ORCHARD INDUSTRIES STEEL/ BAKELITE ACTION ROD FISHING ROD Very RARE and neat old vintage steel fishing rod. Marked"Action-Rod Orchard Industries Detroit Mich. on the reel seat. Making this item more rare is the fact the original reel supplied with the rod is still attached and part of the sale. Length is about 54 1/2 inches. All 4 of the line guides are good and securely mounted. The 3 interior guides are bound nicely with factory wire. The base section rod itself is 3 sided. Triangular, very unusual, has some light rust on it. The handle is Bakelite and is a very colorful maroon and off-white banded color. And is in very nice condition. Reel seat screw/threaded rod clamp is good I see no serious damage. Nor repairs needed. Hard to photograph item, took the best of many and am willing to provide more photos upon ... morerequest. Some wear from handling and use but overall quite nice condition. I do not know how old it is but it is vintage. It is a neat looking an unusual vintage fishing collectable. Here is a very old square steel fishing rod with a long wooden handle. The varnish finish is worn off the wood and there are cheques in the wood as shown. The rod guides are all there and well attached. The spring load to hold the reel in place works like it should. TRUE TEMPER and Pat. numbers are engraved in the steel. The other wording is as shown. Rare VICTOR 4 pc, vintage steel fishing pole rod, really neat bakelite eyelets
Up for sale is a great vintage and rather rare Victor steel fishing rod.4 piece and about 4ft.Has the really neat amber bakelite eyelets. Up for sale is a really neat Gephart MFG Company#44 super vintage steel fishing pole.Marked alloy lined joints. Has 4 bakelite eyelets, and is about 5' in length.Rod is in pretty decent shape, handle is a little loose, and has some minor separation and cracks, as well as a few small pieces of cork missing.Also missing its finger rest, and the end bakelite eyelet has some damage, and a small crack in another.But, other then those flaws I would say its in good shape considering its age.Pieces fit together pretty good and snug.Any questions please ask.Thanks for looking. Antique American Fork & Hoe steel fishing rod 2-PC with original sack
Before there was true temper there was for many years the American Fork& Hoe Co. This is a very early 4 sided square steel rod with glass agate guides and original company label intact. The rod is 5ft long. As seen in photos rod handle has cork gripes and very unique reel seat lock. Rod comes with original sack with wood reinforcement. Overall this rod is in very good shape for the age with almost all paint still on steel rod and all guides and tip in great shape.

You are bidding on a nice 33 inch PreMax fishing pole/rod.According to what I have been able to research. It is a PreMax ice fishing rod? The whole unit is 33 inches long. I dont see any pitting. The rod is steel, and has 1 eyelet. The eyelet is non metallic.The wooden handle has NO chips or cracks, and both are grooved. The reel is a Martin 67A- appears to work fine. 3 piece steel fishing rod, USACO, Chicago 2 rod butt outfit
I am selling a 3-piece. 70-inch long(when put together) steel rod with two different butts. One for bass reels and one for light salt water or fly reel. The rod has all eyes in excellent condition withe original ruby red guide inserts. The outfit is one of the earliest pack rods because all sections fit in a bag that is 18 inches long. The rod is usable as is right now: however it is a vintage piece from the turn of the century. The handles are cork, there is a small piece of cork chopped out of one of the bottom of the butts. Otherwise the entire rod and the other butt is in quite good condition for 100 years old including the linen bag that everything fits into. This frankly is a wonderful collectible and would make an excellent gift for a family or friend. Any early bass or fly reel will fit easily in either one of the reel butt handles.

Nice vintage square steel fishing rod by American Fork and Hoe in Geneva Ohio. The rod is one piece that measures 56" long and is in used vintage condition. A tiny chip out of the cork and there is a little rust. The handle is in good shape and eyes are intact and it has a nice brass reel seat. The rod is marked Oxford Pat# 80990 issued in 1930 and sold until 1950. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Vintage fly fishing rod and reel/ Samson steel rod/ union hardware /early 1900's
You are bidding on a vintage early 1900's union hardware Samson steel fly fishing rod. It is in good condition for its age and you can fish with it. The reel works but it does not click anymore. It extends out over 7 foot measured from the front of the handle. The loops on each section are made of brass. The rod is surprisingly light with great action. The cork handle is in good condition with little wear.There is two small red paint spots on the first section of the rod which can be removed. Good luck

Vintage rare 3 piece steel fishing rod, USACO, CHICAGO 2 rod butt outfit
I am selling a rare vintage 3-piece. 70-inch long(when put together) steel rod with two different butts. One for bass reels and one for light salt water or fly reel. The rod has all eyes in excellent condition with original ruby red guide inserts. The outfit is one of the earliest pack rods because all sections fit in a bag that is 18 inches long. The rod is usable as is right now: however it is a vintage piece from the turn of the century. The handles are cork, there is a small piece of cork chopped out of one of the bottom of the butts. Otherwise the entire rod and the other butt is in quite good condition for 100 years old including the linen bag that everything fits into. This frankly is a wonderful collectible and would make an excellent gift for a family or friend. Any early bass or fly reel will fit easily in either one of the reel ... morebutt handles.

I have had 3 or 4 of the rods in the last 40 years and I think they are pretty scarce. How nice is this item? Condition of wire and flyer is excellent, the envelope is worn and has some tears.
