Vintage fishing 2 reels Zebco Empire box new knife +wood ruler lure weights tin
Please forgive me in advance if I don't sound as if I know too much about vintage fishing. But I'm a 59 year old female. I recently went to an estate sale- no men were even there, and I KNOW old fishing gear is collectable, so here we go: there are 2 reels, one looks older, an Empire brand, black and it appears to have some heavy duty gears(see photo#3) turns and clicks VERY healthy-sounding, no broken plastic anywhere. Next is a Zebco reel, model#3040, still has fishing line and a large(rusty) hook attached. It also states: Internal Bsil trip with manual option fast 4:1 gear ratio folding handle. Both have some light surface rust as well. Next is a BRAND NEW hilarious wooden ruler/Stainless Steel fishing knife in the box with cool graphics, made in Japan. NEVER USED, one end of the box has ripped some, even the edges of both sides ... moreof the box repeat what the ruler does, and that is one side is'honest' for the 10" the other for dishonest says 20" This is from Detroits store Hudsons, long out of business. The knife is REALLY tight inside the ruler, and it floats, too! Next is an OLD lure of a fish, he has yellow eyes, measures 3-1/4" wide and has 2 sets of triple hooks attached, a realistic texture to his scales, etc; and is in two pieces, so it must appear to swim and'move' Next are two tin blue sliding boxes called Ideal Sure Shot, made in USA, a bit tough to open, I can see at least 4 weights in one and more than that in the other. These are 1-3/4" wide each. Next are three packages, two of which are brand new, one is made right here in Ann Arbor, Michigan, called Deluxe Rainbow Trolling Rigs, cool graphcis on the package, model# is 4-blade NI Coloroado 22" The next package that is brand new is called Les Davis Tiny Flexitroll nickel regularly only $2.99 at Yankee Department Store, the plastic cover is very loose, 2 of four corners are exposed, in fact. The last one doesn't have that plastic on it at all, this one was regularly $1.69 at the same store, it appe

Well-kept old bait casting reels that I have ever come across. There is absolute no missing parts. Problems, or signs of every being fished. If I had the box and papers I would sell this one as new. I really hate to let this one go but I hope the next owner can display it where it can be seen and admired. My understanding is this model was made by Enterprise manufacture Co. in Akron 9. Gears sound a little rough. But still very usable. Ocean City 1581 with Box: Works and looks great. Spool looks like it has a little wobble when turning. But still works well. Abu Garcia Ambassadeur: Decals are gone. But I think it is a 5000C. Foot number 771003. Obvious boat rash on both rims. Still spins OK, smooth drag, smooth level-wing. I am sure it needs a good lube job. Ocean City 112 Bay City: Very nice reel. Chrome is excellent with only minor pitting. Smooth drag. Good free spool, strong clicker, knob spins free. This auction is for a pair of vintage brass fly fishing reels. Marked: PFLUEGER PROGRESS- MADE IN U.S.A. TRADEMARK- showing a bulldog- and: 60 on one and 80 on the other. These reels are fully functional and in very good working and appearing condition with no damages appearing lightly used. They are orientated to mount under a rod that is held in the left hand and they function properly with a clockwise right hand retreive. The line included is untested but appears ok with no rot. Both measure 2 3/4" in diameter across the pillars and the 80 spool measures 1" inside and the 60 is 3/4" inside. Total weight is 8.5 ozs. As always. Dam Quick 45 & Shakespeare alpha 2528G Fly Fishing Reels Vintage Lot
Lot of 2 fly fishing reels. The bronze reel is heavy in weight and appears to be all metal. THe front says DAM Quick 45 made in Western Germany. THe black one is made by Shakespeare alpha 2528G and is lighter in weight and the body is made of plastic. I do not know anything about fly fishing but please contact me with any questions regarding these items. Both have been used as they both still have line on them.
