However, the bail roller does not spin. I'm thinking it should. I put penerating oil on it but I didn't want to mar the roller up with pliers trying to free it so I just let it be. I cleaned the reel but didn't relube it. You may want to do that. The reel is nicer than most.

Unmarked reel with"Trade Mark" and the British pound sign stamped on the crank arm end of the housing. The reel seat is bent and the bottom of it is marked"60 Yards Made in USA" The click/free-wheel button works. But the reel turns a little hard. The knob on the crank arm is painted wood. The next reel says Johnny Walker No. 979, Japan and turns smoothly, the third reel says Great Lakes, S-30, Lexington Mich. USA and has a scene etched in it, this reel also turns smoothly. 14 Vintage Fly Fishing Reels 14 Vintage Fly Fishing Reels. Most of these reels have something wrong with them. So we will list each one and describe it's condition& defects. Some reels have line, but we don't know what brand they are or their specs. Please refer to the photo's for further cosmetic condition details. From left to right, starting at the top left: Pflueger Sal-Trout No. 1554 USA. Mechanically this reel is sound with an undamaged clicker gear and a spool that does not rub. The reel has click/free-wheel modes& switches between the two OK. It has some corrosion on the hardware and spool and loss of finish on the housing. Aluminum spool and housing. Bakelite crank knob spins on it's shaft. Edwards Mfg. Co. of Chicago No. 40 reel. The housing has a couple of bends. But the spool does not rub. Undamaged clicker ... moregear. No free-wheel mode- click only. The spool retainer screw is stripped, but it tightens down ok- there is no wobble to the spool. Aluminum housing& spool has wear, scratches and light corrosion. Aluminum crank knob does not spin on it's shaft. This reel is marked on the white plastic hub on the back: 3-Square Symbol) BOEHOXOT N-1- there are no other markings on this reel. Aluminum spool and housing with loss of finish& spool rubs a little. Has click/no click and drag& they all work. The clicker gear and striker are worn. But the reel clicks ok. There is a tiny rusted forcing screw on the center of the spool hub that is used to remove the spool. Reel crank knobs are bakelite and spin OK. H-I 1855 Reel. Marked"Japan" on reel seat. Aluminum housing& spool. Has click/no click and switches between the two ok. But clicker gear is worn out and it barely clicks in click mode. Wilby Reel. All aluminum with steel reel seat. Has a stamped-steel clicker gear that while quiet. Has an odd feel. No free-wheel mode and the spool rubs a little. Bristol No. 66 Reel. This would be a decent reel. But the click/no click spring is broken and it only has click mod

For salt water fishing. one is 5 foot tall, and one is 6 foot tall. the 6 footer has a set of numbers on it in very small print 309. 41130. 6- 1/2" the small rod also has a set of numbers in small print.3- 3046. both rods in fantastic condition, considering their age, typical aged, used wer, and tear, but again, great shape, no serious damages or issues, look great, and are still usable. also in this lot is 2 reels, one of them i can not find a brand name anywhere, except for the image od a fish on it. the blu one is a JC Higgins, and notice the small crack oe one side of the reel. other than that they have no other damages, and given it has a crack, it still works. both reels still work. please look at the pictures best you can, what you see, is what you ... morewill be getting. if needed, ask questions, know what your getting into before placing your bid, i will not ship outside the country, and check out other listed items, i combine purchases for cheaper shipping. thanks. good luck, god bless, and happy bidding/shopping.
