LOT OF 4 VINTAGE REELS 1. Says SHAKESPEARE CRITERION 1960 MODEL GJ. MADE IN U.S.A PATENTED. Turns fine. Shows wear with some rusting. Discoloration, grime, could certainly use a good cleaning. Plastic knobs are green/black in color and have scratching. 2. Says OCEAN CITY MFG. CO. PHILA PA PLYMOUTH MADE IN USA PAT. PEND. Turns fine. Has brown fishing line in reel. Has a great deal of wear with black surface loss. Scratching, discoloration, could also use a good cleaning. Plastic knob appears to have a small crack with rust colored discoloration. We do not know the actual age of this lure. 3. Says PFLUEGER MEDALIST TRADE MARK MADE IN U.S.A. Has a green fishing line inside and it is not turing smoothly. This auction is for all that is shown in the photos and. Possibly, for anything else that I might find. There are 2 tackle boxes. The one on the left is a steel Park box model 83333 and the one on the right is a steel Balkamp model 4-4750. There are 3 reels-1) Hi-Spin model c 1901 2) DAM Quick model 330 and 3) Mitchell model 300. There are 2 changeable spools for the Mitchell and 1 for the DAM Quick. One of the knives is a Cattaraugus(no sheath) and the other an Imperial. From that point on are pictures of the tackle removed from the two boxes. Most of these pieces are from the 50's and 60's. Pretty much all of this is either new or good used, ready to go. Some even have their original boxes(not pictured) but will be shipped to the buyer. Reels of this type are not plentiful as they were made mostly in the 50's, and many have been discarded over the years. Judging from the many scratches in the paint, this reel has seen a lot of use. These 2 Pflueger Rocket Reels are some of many that were found at a local Estate sale. These are Model#s 1355 AND 1345. Both Reels are in good shape and work like they should. The both show signs of use. Like small scratches and smudges. The chrome finish on both is in pretty good condition. The smaller model 1345 has a leather piece that I figure helps keep the line from backlashing on spool. Two Nice Vintage reels that would be great for display, or can actually be used. The Penn No. 155 has a crack in the Bakelite across one end of spool, the Immec 22-P has a plastic piece broken off/missing on one side and a crack travelling from screw to edge on the other end(see pics) Both spin easily and lock. They were taken care of, found well-lubricated from a collection of other old reels(see my other listings) Red knobs on handles are very good with some minor scuffs/scratches. Chrome on IMMEC excellent with a few minor scratches, marked Made in Japan 4514, measures 3-1/4" across at widest point. 2 Vintage Wooden Fishing Reels From England.
These 2 vintage wooden fishing reels are from England. Part of my father's fishing equipment and were used in the 50's and 60's, they may be older than that. There are no names on either of them. The largest one is 3" across and the smaller one is 2 1/2" across, they were used for fresh water fishing, other than that I know nothing about them.
