Star, posts, rings and seat all have brassing and wear but they are in good solid competent shape in all. Plates have surface wear and solid good shape as well as the spool which sits and spins well. The super-sized and zoom-able pictures are of the reel which show it for your close inspection. This Monofil 26 fishing reel works good and ready to fish. It cranks well. Nice gears and a good solid anti-reverse, freespool lever works well and kicks in gear nicely and has a good working freespool mode. Drag still works well. And has a good working bait clicker and bait clicker switch. Has surface wear but a good solid reel in well working shape ready for the collection or field alike. It is gold in color and I believe it is the first of the Daiwa GS series considering it is"GS-1" ... moremodel. It appears to be used because of the normal wear such as paint wear/chipping. It is stamped Japan on the foot. Mark of Precision Daiwa GS-1 2 BALL BEARINGS. It spins with ease. There is some blue fishing line on the spool and I will leave it in case the buyer wants to use it or keep it. I do not know much about it but I know it has some value. I actually found an ebay auction from last year of the same model used reel that went for almost $200. I will post a picture for proof of that auction. The only thing that appears missing is the emblem cap on the top of the black spool screw. This is a nice little reel to use or add to your collection. 2 Nice Vintage Fishing Reels..Pflueger Rocket #1365F,Shakespere "Marhoff" 1964
you are bidding on 2 nice vintage fishing reels. they both are in good condition.they both need a good cleaning and oiling. You will receive: 1-Pflueger Rocket#1365F. it has a line leveler and silencer. I noticed the line leveler is a bit loose and moves on an angle sometimes when you reel. It also sometimes gets stuck.I believe i get cleaning and oiling will help. Shakespere"Marhoff" Model GE Nickel Plated dated 1964. It also has a line leveler and silencer. This auction is for a lot of 4 vintage fishing reels. These reels were found in the garage and are in need of a very good cleaning/service and the Bronson reel is missing one of the handles. All of the reels turn freely. These reels include a Shakespeare 1926 Direct Drive. Shakespeare 1960 Criterion, Shakespeare Marhoff 1964 model GE and Bronson Lashless model# 1700 A. I know little about reels but at the low starting price this would be a good project for someone to restore or to use for parts. Included are some old Penn fishing reels. Lures and fishing hooks. The box has been in storage for many many years. I believe the manufacturer of this box is Hoffman and is model 1600. The exterior of the wooden box has some real character as you can see the wear and tear from this old box. This box has been used many years ago and overall is still very strong. The hinges and drawers are in good working condition. Inside the box there are 4 old fishing reels. First reel is a Penn Monofil#26. It is in good working condition. The drag and free spool on it work well. The handle and all the other parts are solid. It just has the usual surface speckles/rust that's ... morecaused by water over the years. It can be cleaned up. Second reel is a Penn Monofil#26. It is basically the same condition as the first EXCEPT this one has a crack on the cover where the handle is at. The crack goes across the cover. But again mechanically it is fully functional. The third reel is a Bay City model 250. Same condition as the first reel. The fourth reel is a Penn#155. Same condition as the second reel but the crack on this one is more apparent. Same side of the reel has the crack. Also Included is a Townsend Fish Skinner. As you can see from the pictures there are some misc. vintage lures included as well. Most of the lures are made by Andy Reeker lures. The big salmon flasher are made by Abe and Al model#1. Some old fishing hooks and unopened packages are there also. Overall this is a great piece with a lot of history behind it. Definitely great for a decoration and conversation piece. So I hope the pictures will help you better then my descriptions. 2 of the reels are Shakespear 1905 Deuce, FA Model and HE Model. 2 are Fly Fishing Reels. I see no names or markings on these. The fifth reel is one I found after I took the pictures, so there is not a picture of this one. But it is a South Bend No. 450B. I see on this one, the center spool that the line winds up on,has a crack on one side. All 5 reels need cleaning, but they all are in decent shape and all seem to operate like they should. I also found an old original Shakespeare box for one of the 1905 Deuce reels that go with everything. I ask that you please look over my pictures very closely. Two Complete, Vintage J.C. Higgins Fishing Rods & Reels, c. 1960, Pistol Grips
These are two complete. Identical J. C. Higgins brand fishing rods, from the late 1950's- 1960. The handles are in very good condition, showing light surface oxidation(light enough that it could likely be pretty much polished out, with the proper effort, at buyer's discretion) I have only cleaned them with a cloth and water. All parts are present& fuction properly. The roads. Which are 57-58 inches long, break down into two pieces. They are also very good, the loops are fine, showing only some light oxidation. The reels are the ones that came with the rods. The cranks turn. But these are, to be kind, in need of appropriate inspection, cleaning, lubrication, etc. Buyer pays postage for 3 lbs. Up for auction is this vintage Fly Fishing Tackle Satchel with all original tackle. Flies and 4 Shakespeare reels. This box is exactly how I found it, l cleaned the dust from the exterior and obviously took everything out to take pictures and then put everything back. This auction is for everything you see in the pics and is from the 1960's era. All the flies are made of wood/cork, some are in great shape and some show signs of use. I have no idea if the Shakespeare Silent Tru-Art reels are in working order or not, they show signs of use, there are two(2) 1538GD models and two(2) 1837GB models, four(4) reels in total. Vintage Fishing Lot Fishing Creel, Fishing flys, and 2 Reels
This auction is for a vintage fishing lot. Which includes, some fishing flys, 2 reels and a creel. The vintage creel is in good condition given the age. It does have a couple flaws. The top( as pictured) has a small amount of broken weave, and the loop on the back is missing. Over all the weave is in good condition. Minor scuffing to leather. It could use some leather oil to soften it up a bit. Please look ar pictures for more detail. Some of the flies are on a block. And some in a leather case. The ones on the block look in better condition. There are two reels. One reel is a UNION HARDWARE COMPANY No7169 Torrington. Conn. The other reel is a Pflueger Sal-Trout Made in the U.S.A. Both have ware but seem to work good. I try to describe the best I can. I am not an expert in any field and may miss something.
