A Penn 85, i think its a black wooden handle. metal is corroded and rusted. a Sears trolling reel 641242. slight rust and corrosion on the metal. A Langley Lakecast model 350. slight metal corrosion. A Swift 660/F paint is wearing off the metal. has line and also the instruction sheet. and a Walker 907 which looks to be in good working condition but has a line tied to it so i dont want to get it all tangled. Two NOS Garcia Lead Core( LeadCore) Fishing Line reels. Each is Color coded so you know how far it goes out and there are thee envelopes that have a little note and a decal for the Fishing Rod or Fishing Pole. One of the decals is crumbled, the box is filthy and there is a knot tying Booklet and a Hard Advertising Card which are torn and haggard. The little note reads"This Line is weighted with a lead core to enable you to fish deep without using heavy sinkers. It's also colored every ten yards to show at a glace the amount of line you have out. Exceptionally long wear results when used with a rod that has a roller tip top. Vintage Ice Fishing Equipment Hand Made Box and Eight Rods and Reels
For auction is a wonderful vintage Ice Fishing Kit/Rig. Based on the appearance of the box. The hardware holding it together along with the 8 rods and 8 reels I am guessing that this package dates in the range of 1900 to 1925. This will make a really nice display or probably could be used to fish with. Note that on one end of the box a small piece of wood is missing(probably an easy fix if you have some old wood) The box measures about 28.0" L x 3.75" H x 5.50" deep. It weighs about 5.25 pounds.
