These two lures are ... moreidentical except the frog lure hooks are attached to a split ring which is attached to the screw eye hook holder. In addition the unmarked hooks are larger and not copper. Possibly the unmarked lure was a saltwater model. The conditions are excellent. The lures are 1 3/4 inches not including the lips and the frog weighs 1/5 oz. and the other weighs 3/10 oz. with the hook guards on. You should use the pictures to help determine the condition. Color and hardware. I take close up pictures of any flaws not seen in full pictures. Please excuse the glare/flash spots. More pictures will be taken upon request. Up for auction is a very nice Wright& McGill Eagle Claw Water Eagle two piece spinning rod. It is marked as the model"No. WE 200" It is 6 feet long. I listed the rod as used because I did not buy it new. But it shows little, if any, signs of use or wear. The graphics are sharp. The graphics on the rod state that it for use with line sizes 2-6 and lure weights from 1/4 to 1/2 ounce. The action is not stated, but I would say it is a medium. The wraps, guides and ferrules are clean and solid. Please take a look at the enlarged photos, as they accurately depict the condition of this rod. I have the proper guides and will send the proper missing guide with the rod. I also would be willing to replace and rewrap it if the winner wanted me to do that. The standard Granger silk wraps have changed color over the years to the yellowish/golden cast that Special models seem to age. The sections are full length, in good shape, no breakage. The cork handle shows some wear from being in the bag. The tube is original and has a number of airholes drilled in the cap. The bag is original and in good shape, no tears or rips. There is a non original hook keeper that has been added and it covers the Granger markings that are normally at the point. All in all. A very good rod to either be restored or fished, and of course it would be a good example of this model to add to a Granger collection. This rod is in almost new condition the only issue is some of the farrels have come loose and need to be reglued. The tube has a little dammage but it has been taped. The guy i bought it from said it still had the plastic cover on the handle that said granger but when he touched it it crumbled you can still see alittle stuck on the handle see picture. Offered for sale is a RARE late 1940's or early 1950's vintage Wright McGill- 4 piece- 7 1/2 foot fly rod. This rod has no eagle claw markings anywhere-there is a flying eagle on the butt section of the rod. This is a fiberglass rod which has 4 pieces and is 7 1/2 foot long when put together. The rod is stamped on the metal reel seat Made by the Wright McGill Rod Company Denver Colorado Also the are a couple patent stamps. This reel seat is very similiar to the early Wright McGill Granger bamboo fly rods and may indicate the rod is one of the very first fiberglass travel rods. The butt section is marked Wright McGill"Trailmaster" 7 1/2 ft. No. 4 TMF There is also an eagle flying but no mention of Eagle Claw. VERY Early style rod. All sections are equal in length. There are 2-3 line guides that could use a re- wrap if you ... moreare going to fish the rod-one line guide on the 3rd section is the worst. Otherwise the rod fits together nicely and is ready to display. The rod could use a little clean up around the joints. Chest Waders by Wright & McGill
These chest waders are the real deal. Wright& McGill model WME900-MK. This pair was my backup and were used twice. I fish a lot in several states and I still have my original pair of these type waders. Which are probably 6 or more years old now. They hold up incredibly well. This model has the zippered pocket on the front outside, which is better than the old style, and it has the built in fleece hand-warmers directly behind that pocket. The other really excellent feature is the back brace belt. This helps during long days on the water. Regarding size, I am a 5'7" male weighing roughly 165 lbs. with a shoe size of 10 and the waders fit me well. The only reason I am selling them is that my buddy talked me into the Simms pants waders(yes, I love them) and these are now excess to my needs. I do recall that this pair of waders were ... morequite pricey when I bought them new. I have no idea what shipping will cost and I can never get the shipping calculator right. Up for auction today is a nice vintage Wright& McGill"Champion" 2 piece No. 3A- 8 1/2 Fly Rod. The rod is 8 1/2' Long and is fiberglass. This rod is in really nice used condition. There is wear to the cork handle. And you can tell it has had a reel on it before. The markings are good on the rod and very readable. All of the eyes are intact. There is also light wear where it goes together. It fits tightly together. Sorry, no case- what you see is what you get. This is a vintage eagle claw 522 HD trolling reel by Wright& McGill. It is in great condition. It works exactly as intended. The reel was well cared for and never used in saltwater and there is no pitting. There are small cracks in the handle probably from age. It is very clean. It is fully adjustable. It could be a great collectors piece or a useful reel. On the foot plate it is stamped Made in Japan and has a 6119 imprinted on it. We also have the original backing if you are interested in it. 1948/50 GV 9050 Grainger (Wright & McGill) Victory Bamboo 9' Fly Rod
Goodwin Granger Company Goodwin C. Granger began building bamboo rods commercially in Denver. Colorado. In about 1919 and by 1920 had formed Goodwin Granger& Co. In 1926 the company was renamed Goodwin Granger Co. The early model Goodwin Rod, Granger Rod, Colorado Special and Denver Special were renamed in 1930 and the new names remained relatively consistent throughout the history of the company. New models such as the Champion and Victory were added later. All models were of consistent high quality with the same nickel silver ferrules and reel seat and the same precise construction. Only the grading of the cane. The style of the windings and the number of guides per section varied between the higher and lower priced models. All Granger rods(except the Colorado Special and Denver Special, which were light colored cane) featured a unique ... moretempering process with ammonia steam which gave the bamboo a distinct resiliency of action and a characteristic rich caramel color for which these rods are famous. Granger referred to each different named rod as grades rather than models. Models referred to specific lengths and weights within each grade. Only the grade name, such as Granger Deluxe or Granger Premier appeared on the rod shaft. The model designation appeared only on rod tubes. Therefore it is difficult to differentiate between different nine-foot models merely by inspecting a rod. All rods during the early era were identified with the grade name inscribed on the reel seat between the decorative knurled bands. With the introduction of the internal uplock seat in about 1936, the grade name was moved to the shaft of the rod and the company name was stamped in the reel seat. Mr. Granger died in 1931 but the company continued to produce high quality rods until just before World War II. Bill Phillipson was production superintendent from the time of Granger's death until the company closed because of the war. A very good 4 piece combination pack rod that I have used myself. Labeled No. M4TMU-7 1/2 Line size 7 and MiNi Ferrules The cork handle shows wear. The round emblem on the cork is missing. I see no defects on the fiberglass. Windings and the line guides. This is a proven excellent rod from the 70's. Good aluminum case& sock. The sock in the picture is a little short. So a longer one is replacing it.

From a local estate, it has been stored in the cloth sheath as well as the aluminum case for years. NO RESERVE AUCTION You are bidding on a beautiful like new original Wright McGill Granger Aristocrat GA7633. 7 ½ foot, 3.75 oz. 3/2 bamboo fly rod. 3 pieces with 2 tips. Made between 1947 and 1952 and super rare especially in this condition. It looks as if it were only fished a few times. Includes original cloth sack in great condition and the original aluminum tube in really good condition. The rod casts a Cortland 4 weight DT Sylk fly line beautifully. I have this same rod that I fish with and it handles 4-5 lb fish easily. All sections are equal length. Straight as an arrow, reel seat functions and is like new, ferrules are perfect. If you want a 7 1/2 footer to fish or put in your collection buy it now cause it won’t last long. All the wraps look great. The cork looks really good with only some dirtiness from honest use. Varnish ... moreis really nice with only a couple minor flaws from use and starting to turn darker from age. This is one heck of a great looking rod and it is ready to fish as is. This rod. For those that don't know is positioned as an upper mid-grade rod and used bamboo that was not quite good enough for the Registered and Deluxe but better than the Special, and way better than the Victory or Champion. The 7 ½’ length makes for a great little rod on smaller spring creeks capable of handling fish up to 4-5 lbs. It's pretty light, impressive. Don't you want to be the guy on your fishing trip this year showing off what an OLD Granger can do? This rod will be expertly packaged and shipped insured to your location. I am an honest seller. And my goal is to put these rods and reels back on the rivers and streams to be used rather than collect dust. Wright and McGill Granger Victory Bamboo Fly Rod- 9 feet
This auction is for a vintage bamboo Granger Victory fly rod. The picture shows 4 rod segments but this is a 3 piece rod. There a 2 of the same end pieces. One of the pieces is broken as seen in the pics. The other piece is in nice condition. All eyelets are intact. Even the ones in the broken piece. This will give you some extras. The other flaw on the rod is a split and warping in the bamboo near the cork handle. I am no expert but it looks repairable. I am also listing other vintage rods and will combine shipping to reduce shipping costs.
