Previously owned condition. There are no holes. Rips, tears, or major stains on this beauty. There is a small area in the top center on the lining that appears to have a bit of slight discoloration. This is age appropriate as the circa is authentic early 1950s vintage and the sweater has lived the majority of its life in storage. The sweater hails from a non-smoking household. There are no odors of any kind present. This delicious classic will never go out of style. The sweater is sized as an approximate 38” bust by approximate 26” waist un-stretched. Vintage Blonde Fox Fur Collar XL
A beautiful blonde fox fur collar in very good condition except for a couple of minor issues. The collar measures 8 1/2 inches at the center back and is approximately 39 inches on the inner curve and approximately 59 inches on the outer curve. LOTS OF FUR for craft work if you want to cut this beauty up or a fantastic addition to that winter coat. The issues: there is line of stain on the satin(see pic) and there are two spots about 3 and 4 inches long that the hair is shortened but when the fur is brushed in the right direction. It's barely noticeable(see photos of before and after of both spots) Satin is in good condition except for the stain. The hide is soft and pliable and the fur is holding. I'm not sure of the date of manufacture because I bought the coat. Took off the collar and gave the second hand store the coat back to ... moreresell so I don't even remember what it looked like except that it was wool. All my items come from a smoke-free home. Greetings. EBay shopper. Thanks for stopping in. AUCTION ITEM To quote the furrier to whom I took this to learn about it: A very nice fox fur collar that needs cleaning. HISTORY This collar. According to my 65-year old-plus wife, is her grandmother's from the 1920s or 1930s. It is in her mother's estate items we are still trying to liquidate. She says the collar has been in the Gump's Department Store box it is presently in. Inside a bag, inside a cedar chest, since forever at her family home. When we moved here, it came with us. She says neither she nor her mom have ever worn it. Gump's. According to Wikipedia, is a one unit luxury store in San Francisco and has been there, according to the lid of the box and Wikipedia, since 1861. I took the collar to a furrier to inquire about it. His comments are above. He said it was ... moreworth about $50. But he wasn't interested. CHARACTERISTICS This collar. Which doesn't, to my unknowledgeable-about-furs eye, look or feel dirty. It measures about 19-inches long on each"wing, as measured from the top of the seam in the middle of the material to the end of the material at the end of the wing. The satin-like material is about 6-inches wide. The collar weighs about 8-ounces. SHIPPING The box measures about 13-inches long by 6-inches wide by 4-inches deep. The top has an area at the middle top edge that appears to be marred by the removal of a piece of tape that pulled up the black ink fine lines and gold-colored ink. Vintage Black Fox Fur Pelt Shawl Wrap Stole
Lovely black fox fur wrap/shawl/stole from I'm guessing the 1940s or 1950s. It's basically a stylized single fox pelt with head. One front leg, two back legs, and a along fluffy tail. The fur shawl is lined in black satin. With a metal hook& eye closure. The mouth of the fox also acts as a clip, so you can use it to close the shawl around you. The fur piece measures 30" long plus 14" of tail. And 9" wide. LABEL- None CONDITION- All vintage items are sold as-is. All sales are final! This piece is in pristine condition. This would fit size S- M or US 4- 6 No fabric label but I'm certain it's mohair wool. And the fur collar is real fox. Measurements approx. It's hard to measure exactly but I tried my best: Length is about 26.5" measured from the mid neck on the back under the fur collar. The sleeves are raglan. From top to bottom sleeve is about 23.
