Northern Pike or Musky Head Mount
This is a mount we found at an estate sale. There are no markings on the wood board other than on the back side where it says Wigand(written in marker) I think it is a Northern Pike but I’m not positive. The mounting board is solid wood that is about ¾” thick. It is approximately 12” wide x 10 ½” high. The fish overall dimensions are 7 ½” wide x 6 ½” high. The head only(not counting what I will call the‘cape’ is 5” wide x 5 ½” high. It sticks out 7” from the board to the tip of the mouth. The condition is very good. Vintage 1949 Walleye Fish Trophy Mount Ford Camp Whitefish Bay Ontario
For your consideration is this wonderful old First Place trophy mount Walleye from 1949 caught at Ford Camp. Whitefish Bay, Ontario Canada. This is a great old mount in super condition on a really unusual back plate. The back plate measures 36" long by 13" tall and as pictured, they are slats of wood that say"First Place 7LB. 6 OZ. on the left side of the fish. Under the center of the fish it is signed"Ford Camp Whitefish Bay, Ontario" and on the right signed"Walleye 1949" It is beautifully done and the writing shows well, as they used two darker slats of wood for part of the writing. The trophy Walleye measures 26 1/2" by 9 3/4" must have been a very proud moment for the winner of this prize. The only damage is the top fin in photo#9, seems to be in two layers and part of the top layer is flaking ... moreoff a bit and the in the last photo the fin on his belly is loose on the top, still holding on the back. This is a rare find and would make a wonderful gift for yourself or the hunting/fishing collector in your life. Vintage 1970 Real Skin LAKE TROUT Wall Mount 41" long Taxidermy/Museum Quality
Vintage 1970 Lake Trout Mount by Taxidermist Ken Hawkins You are bidding a 1970 Lake Trout Mount. This mount is in great condition for it's age. And has museum quality. This is a type of mount that you might find in a Bass Pro Shop or Sporting Goods store. The mount measures 41 inches long and 16 inches in height. You won't find many fish over 40 years old in this good of condition. Please look below for a detailed description of the mount. The mount has a taxidermy label on the back. Ken Hawkins taxidermy mounted the Lake Trout in 1970. Hawkins was a well known taxidermist that did work for 60 plus years. Hawkins and his dad, Jack, did several mounts for the Manitoba Museum, their first mount was done in 1943. The date on the label was hand written: 7-10-70, and the mount originally was for"Grandpa Hefner. This is truly a piece ... moreof history and would look great on anybody's wall! The label also has the address of their Taxidermy Shop, 1793 Main Street Winnipeg 17. Manitoba. This was"Canada's Largest Taxidermist Shop" and became known as"The Shop with the Bear on Top" This is an Awesome piece of Vintage/Antique fishing decor! The condition of the fish: The top of the tail fin has a little bend to it. The top of back two fins are in great condition. The two wall side fins look like they were broken away from the skin but have been glued back into place. All the fins show some wear but nothing really noticeable. The REAL skin of the fish is in really nice condition. The back side of the mount has a small crack. Please look at all the pictures before bidding. Northern Pike Skin Mount Fish Taxidermy Replica 30"
Here is a nice skin mount replica of a Northern Pike. This mount is about 5 years old and in very nice condition. The fish was/is about 30" long. BUT, with the bend in the fish mount, its about 28" long. The fins were finished with bends/curves in them for a more realistic appearance. Note) As seen in the photo; the lower tail tip is discolored/clear. It may have been repaired at one time? I think some paint or touch up would be an easy fix. There is a nice wire hangar on the back. So its ready to mount. Its a little dusty and due for a light cleaning. This is a nice mount overall, and would look great on the wall. Have a look at the pics, they show its condition and coloration/markings pretty good.

Vintage Sailfish Taxidermy Wall Mount - 8 feet. Big one!
Here is an 8' long X 3 1/2' tall Sailfish half mount.I do not know much about these.I purchased this one from a lady about 15 years ago who said her husband caught the fish in Mexico in the 1980's.I liked it bought it and hung it on the wall.We redecorated and it is time to sell.I think it is made out of plaster the sail looks to be masonite and fins are plastic.It looks good from a distance but up close you can see cracking and paint chipping.This fish is far from mint so dont expect a show piece.It would look fine hung on a wall where it can be viewed from a distance or in a garage/work shop.Local pick up only. Here's what I know about this guy. The plaque reads: June 1975 Lac La Ronge Canada. Sask. Good Time Fishing Real skin mount. From end of tail to tip of mouth. It's approximately 33" long. Measuring HALF of the body, he would have a girth of 16" plump little guy! This comes with the lure you see hanging from his mouth BUT it is easily removable in case you wanted to place your own lure there. There is thin cracking on the bottom(see photo) doesn't seem to be a major issue. Mounted on a wood(pine? board that measures 36" across. Hanging hardware attached. See photos for all the details. Beautiful Northern Pike that was caught and mounted in about 1983. The fellow that mounted this was 84 years old and did a beautiful job on this 34 inch pike. He is down-sizing and needed to part with it. This was the center piece in his Man Cave. I have not touched it. So you will get it with the dust on it. He used a beautiful mounting board behind it and the width of this pike is about 5 inches. The owner caught this out of Lake Okoboji in Iowa. I do not see any damage to any of the fins and the color is amazing. I will have this professionally packed and shipped for $40.00.

Bluegill is 11" long so is a nice large specimen. Mounted by George McGinnity- a local master taxidermist who has won awards for his mounts up and down the east coast. You won't find anyone to do a nicer job. George has been semi-retired quite a few years now-he use to get all of my whitetail and fish mounts when he was active. I picked this one out of an estate so I don't know how long ago he did it but as I said-he is a master. He doesn't do it the easy way-notice the open gill plate showing the gills. Caught my 40" so these 2 can go to make room. 2 year old mount. Fish caught a day apart and mounted professionally on a piece of old barn board with a metal stringer atached. Beautiful color in both of these fish. Fish length is 32 and 36, actual lenghts now are smaller due to arch in the mount. One weighed 11lbs, the other weighed just under 16. Flawless, no broken fins, scratches etc. Excellent for a man cave or someone wanting to decorate their cabin. I will not ship these but would be willing to meet buyer 30 mins from zip code 53039, WI.
