Northern Pike Skin Mount Fish Taxidermy Replica 30"
Here is a nice skin mount replica of a Northern Pike. This mount is about 5 years old and in very nice condition. The fish was/is about 30" long. BUT, with the bend in the fish mount, its about 28" long. The fins were finished with bends/curves in them for a more realistic appearance. Note) As seen in the photo; the lower tail tip is discolored/clear. It may have been repaired at one time? I think some paint or touch up would be an easy fix. There is a nice wire hangar on the back. So its ready to mount. Its a little dusty and due for a light cleaning. This is a nice mount overall, and would look great on the wall. Have a look at the pics, they show its condition and coloration/markings pretty good.

Here's what I know about this guy. The plaque reads: June 1975 Lac La Ronge Canada. Sask. Good Time Fishing Ok. Fishermen! What is it? Salmon, Trout, Pike? I'm having trouble identifying this but have been told it may be salmon. Real skin mount. From end of tail to tip of mouth, it's approximately 33" long. Measuring HALF of the body, he has a girth of 16" plump little guy! This comes with the lure you see hanging from his mouth BUT it is easily removable in case you wanted to place your own lure there. I'm sue a taxidermist could remove this from the large mounting board and re-mount this to a more modern look, if you like. There is thin cracking on the bottom(see photo) doesn't seem to be a major issue. Mounted on a wood(pine? board that measures 36" across. Hanging hardware attached. I don't know if the fish was actually caught in WI. But I would venture to guess so. It is a fixer upper. The biggest flaw is the tail fin has a tear. It appears someone attempted to repair the tear. And had no luck. The other fins have some damage also, I took close pictures of each fin to show any damage. Also there is one spot on his back where a scale flaked off leaving a bare spot. Along the jaw line there is a damaged area as well. Please look through the pictures carefully so you are able to determine if this fish is for you! He will be carefully packaged. This walleye is real and is 26 inches long and has a 16 inch girth. It has beautiful colors and will brighten up any wall in that special room. This mount has the standard hanger on the back for a nail or screw and it also has 2 wires which can be bent out and they can go through holes in a piece of driftwood to be secured that way if desired. Here is one huge walleye mount. The tag says it was 31 and 1/2 inches. I laid a tape in the V of the tail and measured 30 inches to the bottom lip. So this was well over that live. This was very well done and still looks great after 25 years. The tag did not say where this came from. I am pretty sure it was from Lake Erie. It was my 30th Birthday May 14th 1996 and we'd had a great day on the water. In fact one of the best days we'd ever had. The sun was setting and we were all taking the gear off the boat and loading the cars. There was going to be at least an hour of filleting in front of us before an unprecedented feast. If you're a fisherman you know the"one last cast" routine. Walking back to the cars along the docks I flicked out my worn but trusty Rapala and let out the line so that when I walked it back to shore I could reel it all the way back in. Reaching shore I turned and started to reel pulling in all the loose line I'd let out when I noticed that the line I was reeling in was going out faster than I was reeling and BANG! I set the hook and the battle started. I quickly walked back up the docks to improve my position. My ... morebrothers. Uncles and cousins all noticed at the same time and I could see them out of the corner of my eye half interested and half jealous. The fish ran and pulled out line like a Pike and my reel screamed and rod bent. Get me a net" I yelled over my shoulder and they all scrambled. I only had 4lb line on this 6'6" medium action Abu Garcia so I had to let him run and follow him by running along the docks. After about 10 min everybody became convinced that I must have hooked a turtle because I was gaining line so slowly but I was bringing in line now, slow, but steady. Fatigue got the better of him then, I thought, and we were only in about 22' 25' of water here at the end of the docks. He was coming up but he was swimming up under the dock. I pushed my rod tip out to turn his head and get him away from the dock and when he broke the surface from the very edge of the dock he must have left the water by 2 feet. Splashing back into the lake he swam away from the net my Uncle Jesse had thrust into the water and started taking line again. Now that we'd all seen him we all became collectively paranoid that he was going to throw the hook or snap the line. I

This is a nice looking vintage largemouth bass taxidermy mount. It measures about 20" in length. And the real skin was used in the mount. There is a small crack on the top of the head area(pictured) which appears to have been repaired at some point and is barely noticeable. There is also a mark on the side of the gill area(pictured) I'm not sure if that was on the live fish or not, it's minor but still worth mentioning. Giant 25" LARGEMOUTH BASS Skin Mount, Fish Taxidermy, 65 years old!
Here is an awesome antique Largemouth Bass skin mount for sale. This huge fish measures 25 inches long and has a girth of 19 inches. This fish was caught at Lake Lochloosa in Florida on November 16th 1949. This fish is 65 years old. She is in great condition for being this old. The taxidermy and paint is awesome for a fish this old. The fish is not in perfect condition as there are a few imperfections with a couple fins. See photos. It comes mounted a nice wood plaque with a hand made nameplate which states the date and location caught. If you are looking for a big fish with a lot of history then this is the one. Vintage Taxidermy Real Skin Striped Bass Fish Mount Huge 37 lbs.... 40" long
You are bidding on a Vintage stuffed Striped bass. The Striper is huge. It measures right at 40" in length and 17" from the top of the fin to the bottom of the dorsal fin.The fish weighed 37 lbs when caught. I'm guessing the piece is 20 years old. Its a nice Large piece that would look great over that fireplace in your cabin or in that man cave. The mount is older and does have a few minor issues. The fins have seen better days but still look good. The body is in overall good condition showing minor cosmetic issues. Nothing major or anything that detracts from hat awesome vintage look. This fish in itself is rare simply because it weighed 37 lbs. I know stripers get huge but I have never caught one this big. To have a few this size stuffed it would cost you at least $300. Real Skin Mount Musky Muskey Muskie 39 Inch Fish Taxidermy Pike Walleye
Up for auction is this wonderful real skin mount of a muskie! This was an estate purchase in Iowa and according to the family of the estate. This fish was caught in the late 1960's in lower Canada by their late Father. The fish measures 39" long and approx. 7" wide. It is mounted on a board that measures 40" X 20" As seen in the pics, there is a little red missing on the tip of the tail fin and a place on the tip of the fin near the head. The mounting of this wonderful fish was done by Hawkins Taxidermy located in Canada.This auction will be for a local pick up only. HUGE 29 inch Professional Taxidermy Walleye Fish Skin Mount on Driftwood
For your consideration is a beautiful professionally taxidermy skin mount walleye mount on a large piece of driftwood.This is a recent estate sale purchase from the home of an avid sportsman so we do not know what waters the fish was caught in. It is a nicely colored specimen with rich gold and greens. It is also a very thick fish as you can see from a photo showing the belly. It was difficult to capture the girth because it is mounted in a curved fashion. We measured it from the front with a soft tape measure running the tape from the bottom jaw running below the pectoral fin and rotating it slightly upwards to the bottom of the tail fin;thus following the curvature. It has mounting hooks on the back of the wood. It looks to be in very good condition as seen from the eyes of a novice to taxidermy fish etc. but it will need to be dusted a ... morebit. Alabama 22" Largemouth Bass Real Skin Mount Taxidermy Plaque 8 Lb Huge fish!
This bass was caught in Alabama and weighs about 8 pounds and about 22" from mouth to tail. It came in 2nd in a tournament back a few years ago.
