The scan below is greatly enlarged to show detail: This an antique albumen photograph printed circa 1870-1880. The photograph measures 8 X 7 1/2 inches. It is laid down onto a mount which is a few millimeters larger than the photo. The photo is in fair/ poor condition due to fading. And damage to the right edge which has been trimmed, has small chips missing, slight buckling& small tears. The photo is not identified with an inscription. However. The large drum in the background clearly reads"G.A.R. near the shoulder of the soldier in front of the drum) The other words on the drum are illegible, aside from"LEE.The foremost figures wears what appears to be a GAR badge. The soldiers all wear Civil War era coats and caps. With crossed rifles. The top of the spoon depicts a suspension bridge with a steamboat below it and the city of Cincinnati behind it. Below that is an American eagle with the United States flag below it and a seal below that. The thin part of the spoon reads'Cincinnati' The bowl of the spoon features a monument of President Garfield and GAR above that, standing for Grand Army of the Republic. vintage Creek Chub Green Gar Plug
Here is a vintage Green Gar fishing Lure. The paint still looks great. There is some wear to the underside of the lure that is seen in the pic's. Noted the chip in the red area of the snout. The"belly" shows some wear, i.e. hairline cracks in the paint. The glass eyes are in great condition. The detailing of the scales is also very nice. I will also list other Creek Chub lures.
