This is a beautifully detailed, 94-year-old map of Yates County New York. It measures about 9 by 10 inches(about 23 by 25 cm. and is in Very Good condition. This map is very detailed showing topographical features(rivers, lakes, creeks, etc. townships, cities and villages, routes of old railroads(both steam and electric) and of course old roads and highways. Improved roads(gravel or macadam) are colored in heavy red while unimproved(dirt) connecting roads are marked with thinner red lines. There are no asphalt or concrete roads- nothing like what we would call a highway today. Scale is about eight miles to the inch. This is a guaranteed genuine vintage map! Perfect ... morefor genealogy or other historical research. This map was printed on a single sheet of stock, and was bound into a 3-ring loose-leaf binder. On the reverse is printed a table of towns and villages and their populations down to villages as small as 50 population. Towns with Post Offices are marked. For sale is my Vintage Penn Senator 113-4/0 fishing reel. I brought this reel from a good friend of mine many years ago. Unfortunately. I never got a chance to use it so I figured w hy not let someone else enjoy it. As you can see from the pictures this reel has black side plates and a green handle which are only found on older Penn reels. This reel also has a white and green braided line which many veteran fisherman like to use. You may have noticed pitting on some of the chrome on the bars. The handle and back plate. There is also one missing screw on the handle side of the reel and a small crack on the chrome plate in the 12 o'clock position in picture#5. None of these defects affect this fine reel's performance. Nonetheless, I want all potential buyers to be aware of the flaws that I believe give this reel character. Vintage Penn Squidder 140 reel, aluminum spool, steel gears, HT 100 drags, USA++
This reel is straight from my collection. Clean inside and out. It has the beautiful orange-swirl handle, maroon sideplates, upgraded HT 100 drags, and steel main and pinion gears. All functions are flawless. Gears are smooth, drag is strong, clicker is loud, and it casts like a dream. Chrome is shiny, no rust or corrosion. I hate to sell it.
