The European nightcrawler, Eisenia hortensis or Dendrobaena veneta, is a medium-small earthworm averaging about 1.5 grams each when fully grown. Generally blueish, pink-grey (cf. Classic M&H Sporting Goods 8 1/2' Bamboo Fly Rod by Heddon 3/2 With Cloth Bag
This rod is in decent condition. Could use a little TLC. It is M&H Special No. 512F by Heddon. M&H was a Philadelphia sporting goods retailer. One tip section has a replacement tip top and is about 1/4" short. All other sections are full length. Both tip sections have a noticeable fishing set-see pictures. There is a missing snake guide on the short tip section, also one on the mid section. The butt section has an agate stripper guide. The pyralin reel seat has a downlocking screw lock feature. The downlocking ring is marked"PAT. NO.1624052" which patent was issued to Heddon in 1927. There is some varnish roughness, typical of many Heddon rods, should polish out. The ferrules are"popping" tight. I"m in Philadelphia and I think that this is the first Heddon M&H rod that I have seen. It comes in what ... morelooks like its original cloth bag, no tube.

we have a stopwatch. Meritex 500, 7 Jewell, as found the previous owner carved their name in the back it says it is water resistant shock protected anti-magnetic and self compensating. We know nothing about watches, we took two pictures, so you can see the hand actually move, but they seem to stop about every 10 seconds. So I am going to say it is working but I'm not sure if it's just sort of working or really working I may not know how to press the buttons correctly. Thank you

They are marked 7ft and made of ash. The finish on these skis is original and I would say exceptionally nice original with very nice original labels for the manufacturer and and sporting goods store. The leather straps are very aged cracked but still have buckles and hardware. The poles are a little more fragile with bamboo splitting and leather webbing fragile and cracked. VINTAGE L.L. BEAN SPORTING( JACKET TAN BOILED WOOL BODY/RED&BLACK CHECK WOOL LONG SLEEVES WITH CUFFS FRONT SNAP CLOSING 4 POCKET FRONT I do not know the'sport' connected with this jacket or its age- I have tried on-line and spoken with the L.L. Bean Co. In Maine, so far, no luck- I just have not reached the right person. I am listing the jacket now because I do not want anything to happen to it- like a visit from a moth. The label reads: L.L. Bean INC. FREEPORT, ME. The fact that the letters'ME. are used on the label is a clue that it was manufactured after Zip Codes were introduced- I think. I am thinking some kind of'shooting' The jacket is a size 44- I believe the jacket is intended to'fit' The shoulders do not seem'broad' to me. Rest of measurements seem accurate. The materials used are not identified, ... morebut there is no doubt that they are 100% Wool. The body of the jacket is tan, boiled' Wool and the sleeves are a red/black check wool of medium weight, not stiff or bulky- a clue here. They are long sleeves with a buttoned cuff. The jacket has a V neckline. Closes center front with 5 substantial snaps. On either side of the front are two, open, patch' pockets- top are 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" They are positioned to gently/slightly slant inward. The bottom pockets have a center top snap- 8" x 4" 3 sides of the pocket's edges are bound in a 1/4" sturdy cotton twill tape and reinforced at the top edges. The jacket is not lined. I am sure the jacket is intended for warmth- wind would not penetrate the body portion and it would certainly trap body heat. The outer portion of the body. Including the neck and front panels are edged with the same cotton tape. The sleeves are set into the body with a 1/4" welting seam on the outside. Photos#11 and 12 are of the sleeve and special slanted shoulder detail stitching. The interior of the jacket is completely'finished' no unfinished seams, it could be worn inside out. The mug is part of a sporting art tankard series produced by Paul Brown for Brooks Brothers possibly in the 1950-1960s era. This 4 ½” tankard depicts a tennis player. The piece is in very good condition with some pin holes in the rim and some very small chips on the bottom rim. The painted scene is still in very good shape. With minimal loss of paint.
