Vintage wooden fishing rod bamboo 4 piece pole w/ holder sporting decoration
You are bidding on a used Vintage wooden fishing rod with holder in poor condition. This is a 4 piece set. The main rod has 3 pieces when assembled and there is an extra tip piece. There is only one eyelet for the tip. It slips off and fits the other tip. I do not know the make or exact age but I would guess from the 30s it looks quite old. Each section measures approx. 40“ long. The eyelets are all there and the top 3 pieces look pretty decent shape however the main handle portion of the rod has some cracking started on grain as seen in photos. It could probably be repaired and wrapped I’m not sure. I am not an expert on fishing poles so please bid accordingly. It includes a vintage wooden holder that has 4 slots cut to fit sections of the poles w/ the eyelets recessed. It has metal butt ends and strings that have lots of wear.
