Don't let someone else get it! This VINTAGE WOODEN LOBSTER TRAP measures 34"L x 23"W x 15"H and weighs about 20lbs. See the pictures and study them. Closely. It stands and sits, freely. But. It is of loose construction. Given to me by a commercial lobsterman fifteen years ago this summer. It did long duty in the Atlantic ocean and the wood shows it. Picture number 8 is indicative of the condition of the construction. Watch out for rusty nails and splinters! Some slats are missing. Broken and corroded. Large basketry Philippine Fish trap with removable base
This large woven fish trap from the mountain Province. Luzon Island. Philippines is unlike those we usually see from the Ifugao peoples. These are actually traps. Not collecting baskets or creels. The fish are collected from the narrow end of the basketry trap by opening the lid at this end. It was made in the 1940’s to 1950’s. Perfect condition. Great collector’s piece. It measures 18 inches long.

This is an MDC foreline molecular sieve trap with hose connection. Molecular Sieve Traps containing Type 13X synthetic zeolite effectively prevent oil back-streaming at room temperature. They also trap water vapor in the sieve charge. The sieve charge can be reactivated by baking out in place when the base vacuum cannot be achieved. A valve should be used to isolate evolved gas from the system during bake-out cycle. During the bake-out the mechanical pump removes the evolved gas from the sieve trapping material.
