I actually found an ebay auction from last year of the same model used reel that went for almost $200. I will post a picture for proof of that auction. The only thing that appears missing is the emblem cap on the top of the black spool screw. This is a nice little reel to use or add to your collection. For your consideration is this wonderful old First Place trophy mount Walleye from 1949 caught at Ford Camp. Whitefish Bay, Ontario Canada. This is a great old mount in super condition on a really unusual back plate. The back plate measures 36" long by 13" tall and as pictured, they are slats of wood that say"First Place 7LB. 6 OZ. on the left side of the fish. Under the center of the fish it is signed"Ford Camp Whitefish Bay, Ontario" and on the right signed"Walleye 1949" It is beautifully done and the writing shows well, as they used two darker slats of wood for part of the writing. The trophy Walleye measures 26 1/2" by 9 3/4" must have been a very proud moment for the winner of this prize. The only damage is the top fin in photo#9, seems to be in two layers and part of the top layer is flaking ... moreoff a bit and the in the last photo the fin on his belly is loose on the top, still holding on the back. This is a rare find and would make a wonderful gift for yourself or the hunting/fishing collector in your life. It belonged to an old collector of only the best hunting/ fishing trophies etc. and he would surely love to see it go to another good home. Vintage 1970 Lake Trout Mount by Taxidermist Ken Hawkins You are bidding a 1970 Lake Trout Mount. This mount is in great condition for it's age. And has museum quality. This is a type of mount that you might find in a Bass Pro Shop or Sporting Goods store. The mount measures 41 inches long and 16 inches in height. You won't find many fish over 40 years old in this good of condition. Please look below for a detailed description of the mount. The mount has a taxidermy label on the back. Ken Hawkins taxidermy mounted the Lake Trout in 1970. Hawkins was a well known taxidermist that did work for 60 plus years. Hawkins and his dad, Jack, did several mounts for the Manitoba Museum, their first mount was done in 1943. The date on the label was hand written: 7-10-70, and the mount originally was for"Grandpa Hefner. This is truly a piece ... moreof history and would look great on anybody's wall! The label also has the address of their Taxidermy Shop, 1793 Main Street Winnipeg 17. Manitoba. This was"Canada's Largest Taxidermist Shop" and became known as"The Shop with the Bear on Top" This is an Awesome piece of Vintage/Antique fishing decor! The condition of the fish: The top of the tail fin has a little bend to it. The top of back two fins are in great condition. The two wall side fins look like they were broken away from the skin but have been glued back into place. All the fins show some wear but nothing really noticeable. The REAL skin of the fish is in really nice condition. The back side of the mount has a small crack. Please look at all the pictures before bidding. Today. I have for auction, a mounted, taxidermied 18" vintage small mouth bass. It is in nice condition except for a few flaws. The bottom fin has a crease line, and I am not sure if there is a missing tip. Vintage Sailfish Taxidermy Wall Mount - 8 feet. Big one!
Here is an 8' long X 3 1/2' tall Sailfish half mount.I do not know much about these.I purchased this one from a lady about 15 years ago who said her husband caught the fish in Mexico in the 1980's.I liked it bought it and hung it on the wall.We redecorated and it is time to sell.I think it is made out of plaster the sail looks to be masonite and fins are plastic.It looks good from a distance but up close you can see cracking and paint chipping.This fish is far from mint so dont expect a show piece.It would look fine hung on a wall where it can be viewed from a distance or in a garage/work shop.Local pick up only. Large Vintage Fishing Display with Two Large Taxidermy Brook Trout - Must See!
Please note. This auction is for PICK-UP only. Offered in this auction is a one-of-a-kind old and very large fishing display! We believe that this was hand-made. Obviously by someone very creative. The base measures approximately 21" long by 14" deep. The frame measures 18" high by 17" wide and holds a 14" by 12" photo. There are two trout, they appear to us to be Brook trout. We are not familiar with fish taxidermy but these appear to be real fish, please examine the photos and use your judgment. The fish on the right measures 17" long. The fish on the left measures 14" long. The left fish has some minor tail fin damage, as shown in the photo. There is a very slight, barely noticeable chip in the bottom of the tail fin of the right fish. Considering their age and their exposure to possible damage, ... morewe believe that both are in very good condition. We don't believe the side fins have chips; if they do they are not noticable, at least to us. On the inside of the right fish there is a horizontal line that is a few inches(see photo) that may be a crack or possibly not, but we try to point out everything we see. The base is covered with stones that are encassed in some type of translucent resin-like material that gives the look of water. As you can see in the photo, there is a fisherman on top of the small falls and he is casting his line. There is a thin bendable yellow metal line included that was glued to the glass outside the photo leading into the display, giving a realistic effect. The line is detached from the frame but can easily be re-glued, if desired. We will leave that decision to you. We are offering this for PICK-UP only. Iowa Northern pike, taxidermy, Man Cave, vintage wall-hanger, skin mount, cabin
Beautiful Northern Pike that was caught and mounted in about 1983. The fellow that mounted this was 84 years old and did a beautiful job on this 34 inch pike. He is down-sizing and needed to part with it. This was the center piece in his Man Cave. I have not touched it. So you will get it with the dust on it. He used a beautiful mounting board behind it and the width of this pike is about 5 inches. The owner caught this out of Lake Okoboji in Iowa. I do not see any damage to any of the fins and the color is amazing. I will have this professionally packed and shipped for $40.00.

This looks like what appears to be an old mounted fish. It is about 22" long and looks alot like a rainbow trout. Possibly hand painted. Does have a few cracks in the finish but doesn't take away from the awesomeness it displays. Loaded with patina and character. Needs to be lightly cleaned up which I will let the new owner do this. And is this fiberglass? I don't know any of that ~all I know is that this says 53" Barracuda with a captain's name and the man's name that I assume caught it, and it looks in very nice condition. It is a little bit beat up as you can see by the tears in the dorsal fin and some of the stuffing showing on spots on the body I don't know if these things can be restored easily or its okay the way it is. but would be great for your cabin, and I'm not asking you huge price so you can decorate your cabin without breaking the bank. Vintage Largemouth bass mount taxidermy real skin 22.5" long on wood plaque
Vintage large mouth bass taxidermy mount. It is about 22.5" in length. I think it was made in the 1970s or earlier. I bought it at an estate sale. I am farily certain it is real skin. It measures about 12" from the dorsal fin to the bottom of its body. It was a large fish. The mouth is about 4.5" open height. I tried to clean it with some compressed air and some used dryer sheets to get the significant amount of dust off. I was not overly successful. It has flared gills. The biggest flaws are the fins that are bent in some spots and possibly have pieces missing. The worst are the right pectoral fin and the bottom tail fin. There is only an eye on one side. I am sure it was supposed to be like that. The back has some filler where it was put together. Again I think it was made that way because that side wasn't supposed to ... morebe seen. I will try to pack as carefully as possible to keep from damaging the fins any further. The wood that it was mounted on is not of high quality and there are only a few screws holding it on. This is an earlier Mount. From 1981. He is still beautiful to view from the front and mounted on a nice wood plaque. There wasn't much effort put into the back of this mount, maybe that's common, I don't know. There's no eye in the back, and the finish is a little rough.
