HUGE Sturgeon Ice Spear Steel 5' Long 14-1/2" Spread on 7 Tine Fish Gig Michigan
Estate find from along Lake Erie. Lower Michigan. Possibly homemade. Huge and I mean huge. Tines are 1/2" diameter. Tapered shaft is solid 1" steel. Tine spread is 14-1/2" at the tip. Tine assembly is 15-1/2" long from tip to top. Overall the complete spear including line tie is 5 foot. Cone above tines is filled with lead. One tine is slightly bent and one has point chipped off(as shown) I know shipping is going to be a consideration but when are you ever going to see one of these again. Use it for decor or if you're a serious fisherman.use it next trip out! I really have enjoyed collecting spears over the years and as you can see in the last photo.they make great decor!
