Super nice piece! 1 7/8" x 7/8" 2 Best Little Sinkers Tins Horrocks Ibbotson Company These tins have scratching- one is in much better shape than the other one. Both have some sinkers in them. The nicer of the two has more. 1" x 1 3/8" Both measure 2" circumference and about 3/4" high. Typical wearing and scratches for age. They are a bit dusty. Found these tins in an old fishing box. The Rain~Beau Sinker tin is No. 7 Split Shot by Schindler Co of Canada LTD. Mimico, Canada. This tin is in very nice condition, with minimal wear. Four split shots are in this container. This could be a rare brand as I have not seen it listed anywhere. There are 2 Ideal Split Shot tins. One says take a boy fishing today. This tin says 24 BB split shots on the side. It is full and appears original. It is in good condition with a few tiny rust spots. The other Ideal tin says 12 No. 7 Split Shot. This tin is empty. In nice condition, the bottom is pressed in a little. I don't know if one is rarer than the other. The Wright& McGill YANK leader was also in the box so I will just throw that in with the split shot. It says 6 lbs. test and approx. 15 yards long. I think this leader and the tins go back ... moreto the 1950's. A nice lot of old collectable fishing tins.
