Very Nice Falls City Floater Minnow Bucket 1930's Rare Galvanized w/Fish Decal
Falls City Minnow Bucket Two Piece with floater insert and original string. Bucket and Floater are a ll galvanized except for the wood handled wire bail. I would estimate the fish d ecal is approximately 65-70% intact. I beleive these were made between 1930-35 the hand written cost is still intact as shown with 2 prices. VINTAGE O-FISH-AL FLOATING MINNOW BUCKET
This vintage O-FISH-AL floating minnow bucket was made by Point Sporting Goods Co. Stevens Point, Wis. and is marked as such along with a red fish and 0410 on the front. Of, course, its been used, but the graphics are still bright. There is a worn spot on the fish and the letter I is a little smudged(see picture 4) There are no dents. When acquired, there was a small fish scoop inside which I will include. It's 9" tall and the base is 9" in diameter. The top diameter is 9-1/2" due to the outside edge of the inner bucket which fits over the rim.

Falls City "Grand" Model 308 Stenciled Vintage Galanized Minnow Bucket Pail Fish
Offered up for auction is one of the earliest examples of a Falls City minnow bucket I've ever had. This one is a stenciled Grand model 308 or 508 and appears to be galvanized. It states what model number it is right under the"G" in the word"Grand" but I just cannot be positive. Given the age of this bucket I would grade the condition to good to good plus. The bucket is solid. With no holes or rust spots in the bucket itself and the stenciling is quite lgible. The wood handle and wire holder is solid and in place. The only real flaw is a few dings and dents to the top of the guts that go inside the bucket. If you collect old minnow buckets then this early Falls Citys floating pail is a must for any serious collection. Buyer pays $7.00 shipping& handling.
