One used Oval Minnow Bucket To use or to buy and re sell. Wade Bucket. Made in the USA Brand is.Frabill, Has Rubber strap. Emblem is very good. Has very little markings of a stain or rust stain on one side of the inside. It may be scrubbed off but not sure. Age is unknown.But not that old because it has a bar code on the front. The top lid handle has a line attached to it. In case the small metal handle comes apart in the water. Over all in good shape. 7 inches tall 6 and 1/8 inch long. 3 and 3/4 inches wide. Vintage OVAL Oblong MINNOW BUCKET PAIL unusual fishing bait carrier
Vintage minnow bucket. Unusual oblong style. 9 1/2 X 6 1/4 and 9 inches tall. Bucket handle and wood grip look original and good. The handle on the insert looks like a wire replacement. Insert lid. Hinge, and latch look original and good. Bucket has some small dings and dents but still looks good. Bottom looks sound but I did not actually test it for holding water. The insert is in nice condition with some top rim bends. This unit has very little rust overall, nice sound condition It is in as found condition. Falls City Ozark Elevator Minnow Bucket Fishing Bait Pail Rare Antique Angler
Nice looking Falls City Ozark Elevator. A rare. Limited production run minnow bucket of which not many have survived. Note. The seldom seen red and blue Falls City logo and the all metal construction. Except for the old-style, heavy duty would handle. The bucket has a bouyant lift-up lid. When the lid is raised the strainer raises within the insert of the bucket. Thereby lifting the minnows up, and out of the water keeping the angler's hands relatively dry. The studs along which this strainer rises are loose making this one a bit clunky. Solder or glue could easily correct this if desired. Some adjustment of the string may also be in order, depending on the desired position of the lid.
