This is an old fishing net and minnow bucket. The net has a great old wooden handle. The metal bait or minnow bucket is oval. It has a hinged lid with holes as you can see. This has peeling green paint. It's a heavy bucket. I can't find any markings on it. I bought these in Mattoon. Illinois many years ago. The The net measures 18 1/2" from the top of the net to the end of the handle. The minnow bucket measures 15" wide by 7" tall. The wooden handle is 4" long.Please feel free to ask Questions. Up for auction today is a great antique Climax Floating No. 108 Minnow Bucket. This is an early stenciled bucket. With a great graphic of a fish and floral design! The bucket stands approx. 7 3/4" tall with the basket insert, and is approx. 9 1/4" in diameter, not including the bail handle. The bail has its original wooden handle, and the removable basket insert is original with its lid and bail handle. The piece has some light finish wear- all pretty typical for a piece of this age. There is some light surface rust here and there as well, and a spot or two where the paint has worn off, but its still got a great look and its all original! Antique Vintage Falls City fishing Minnow Bucket – GREEN - MUST SEE !
Condition of this vintage Falls City minnow bucket is very nice considering its age. I guessing it’s from the 1930’s) The size is roughly 8" high by 8" wide. Of course there are scratches and usage wear on the exterior paint as shown and some minor dents. But no holes, major damage or separation that I can see. The strainer basket is complete, again with some minor dents. The original green paint is nice, and the fish stencil is about 90% complete. As you can see from the photos, the interior of the bucket and the strainer basket show a used patina that only adds to the character of this hard to find item. Clean it up if you wish, or leave it in its current state. Either way it’ll make a great addition to your vintage fishing collection and will display nicely. By submitting a bid on this item. Antique Canvas Minnow Bucket
For bid is a very rare and old canvas minnow bucket for the fisherman and collector. This is from an estate sale in New Orleans. The gentleman I got this from is 78 years old and said it was his grandfathers who used it on their fishing trips and said it was about 100 years old. The canvas and screening are in great shape as there is no rips.Tears or dry rot and could still be used today on fishing trips. It has a few stains from over the years but that is all. It is about the size of a one gallon bucket. I have never run into one this old and consider it a very rare find and very collectable. It will be shipped priority mail for 2-3 day delivery. Antique Rare Oval Metal Minnow Bucket
This is an antique minnow bucket. Very different shape from the later ones. From my research it was made in Wade Indiana before 1920. It may be as old as 1889. Very rustic. And pretty cool. You can still some what make out the picture on the front. It is a fish jumping and says falls city. The early ones were not galvanized so not many are left. Falls City Ozark Elevator Minnow Bucket Fishing Bait Pail Rare Antique Angler
Nice looking Falls City Ozark Elevator. A rare. Limited production run minnow bucket of which not many have survived. Note. The seldom seen red and blue Falls City logo and the all metal construction. Except for the old-style, heavy duty would handle. The bucket has a bouyant lift-up lid. When the lid is raised the strainer raises within the insert of the bucket. Thereby lifting the minnows up, and out of the water keeping the angler's hands relatively dry. The studs along which this strainer rises are loose making this one a bit clunky. Solder or glue could easily correct this if desired. Some adjustment of the string may also be in order, depending on the desired position of the lid. Neat Old Vintage Antique Wire Folk Art Minnow Bucket
Up for auction is this neat folk art vintage/ antique minnow bucket. Measures 7" Diameter 9" tall without considering handle. Considering handle is 12" tall. Some surface rust but still operational. Although some of the holes were not used. They do not appear to be missing- these holes ended up not being needed as the bottom is secured tightly. I love the stitches. The actual color of minnow bucket is darker than the picture shows and is closer to the picture with the homemade hook maybe a little darker. Indeed. Dents or scratches at all! the bottom of the bucket has no scrapes or rust at all. looks to be never used- still has original price tag of 3.99 on the front of the bucket. this was given to me buy my grandfather years ago who happens to be one of the largest personal collectors of fishing antiques in the Midwest. This vintage minnow bucket has the inner bucket with lid and wire handle. Is clean inside. With just a hint of rusting starting around the seam at the bottom. The exterior bucket has quite a bit of rusting on the interior. Has wire handle with wooden hand grip. This is approximately 9 1/2" tall and 9 1/4" across. The name on the front of the bucket is faint- cannot read. Also has design stripes around on the back. There is some minor denting on the outer bucket. Minnow Bucket, Antique - Galvanized Tin + Heddon popper and bobber
Antique Minnow Bucket- thick galvanized metal in great shape + Heddon lure and bobber Finally getting around to posting for sale. It’s likely from 1940- 50’s or 60’s… perhaps earlier. Heavy-duty galvanized steel. Looks hot dipped. No manufacturer marks, probably crafted in a small operation metal shop, long ago. Approximately 10 inches high x 8 inches diameter. Perhaps 2 or 3 gallons capacity. See photos. The wire bale is not galvanized, and has the original wood handle attached. There’s one small point of breakage along the top rim where some solder has been knocked out where it attaches to the side wall. An easy fix for someone good with a soldering iron. It’s not noticeable at all unless you’re handling it or using it. There’s only little corrosion. And the bottom crimp is in great condition. Included are an old Heddon wooden lure and ... morebobber. I have other older fishing gear that I hope to offer sometime soon. As you can see. It weighs ~3.25 pounds. With packaging and the box, it shouldn’t weigh much over 6 pounds(your cost for shipment)
