It is a large mouth Bass measuring 22” long. Mounted on an 11 ½” x 25” wood panel. There is a brass name plate that says the Bass was caught by Richard Nolan on September 12. 1965 and the Bass weighed in at 8 pounds. Nothing to changing out an outdated brass nameplate for an updated one which would sure be more impressive. I mean Ed Schultz might not do it. But who is going to tell him? The fish is in pretty good shape other than it is dead. There is some minor wear and the upper portion of the tail appears to have been bent creating a light line. But the tail is all firm. One of the bottom fins is a little rolled up so that may have been bumped ... morealso. But hey! What would you look after being stuffed. But please look closely at the pictures to make your own determination. It has only been vacuumed over lightly with a soft brush as it appears so delicate. I didn't want to take a chance on damaging it. Would be great for rustic man cave! Here is a real piece of Art and sporting treasure-you can't keep them anymore a big native Brook Trout from it's native waters in eastern Canada. Mount is old 50+ years old. And has signs of use, but is doing fine. This is not a modern repro or such. This is an old plaster filled/glass eyes mount As you can see. This is in it's original paint, it will have a new layer of laquer soon. This is not one of the new"comic book" looking trout. Walleye Game Fish Skin Mount 24-25"
This offering is for a nice walleye mount that is about 23" end to end and with the curve of the mount is actually in the 24" or 24+ range with a 13-14" girth and being a skin mount it represents a fish that was about 25" or so. As there is shrinkage of the skin in the mounting process. It is an older formed mount as it is heavier than the present day production foam bodies. Age or not, the mount looks good and is in exceptionally nice shape and a lot cheaper than taking one to the taxidermist today. The mount will be packed well for shipping and insured. Taxidermy Mount Steelhead Trout 34" (Real Skin)
Vintage taxidermy mounted real skin Steelhead Trout approx. 34" long with 18" girth displayed on a two piece swivel plaque so fish can be shown at a different angle if you want and has a little play in it so it can swivel. The wood plaque base is 21" long and 8" wide. Top oval part with the base is 12 3/4" high total and 10" wide. Fish in overall great condition with great color and nice clean mouth. Fish needs a little repair in the tail area as you can see, it has a split in it not a chunk taken out, otherwise the other fins look good to me. Also behind the gill area I don't know if that's a crack or it suppose to be like that and some paint chipped on back of fish. Photo's of front and back of fish to get overall look at it. 34" VINTAGE TARPON WALL MOUNT BY J T REESE
This a molded mount by J T Reese taxidermy of Fort Lauderdale Fl. the company is no longer in business. It has been mounted two ways as there are four holes on the back side and it has a wall mount wire now. The mount is sound and as described there are some areas that are not perfect. Fin tips have been bumped and there is a small area in the fifth picture where the finish has been damaged. The color of the mount is that of an inland fish which are darker and sometimes brassy. the tarpon of inland water also have darker fins. All that said the mount still looks great when its on the wall.

Largemouth bass mount live skin 22" 8.0 lb James River caught in the main river
Here is a nice main river caught 22" 8.0 lb live skin mounted citation Va. largemouth bass. Caught near the Annabell lee area of the James river. My father was working pilings that run perpendicular to the shore; the technique used to fool this citation is you position your boat at the end of the pilings; throw your bait near shore and retrieve the bait; this particular time he used a Rebel deep running wee-r: through the pilings occasionally striking a piling or two on the retrieve back. As the bait strikes the wood it glances off in an erratic fashion and suspends for a brief moment. That's when this trophy struck and the fight was on.fish lost. It's very effective and these main channel river bass put up a heck of a fight; they are strong. freeze-dried tail fin from 650 lbs. tuna....30" spread...not sure of species

Up for auction is this amazing large mouth bass taxidermy mount in excellent shape. Fish measures 22 1/2" long from the tip of the tail to the tip of lower mouth. Circumference of body. Just behind the gills, measures 16 1/2" Circumference of mouth is approximately 11" The fish is missing an eye. This area was filled in by the taxidermist, and is not noticeable(this side faces the wall. Fish is mounted on a wood plaque, with brass taxidermist ID. ID reads Skins and Scales, Taxidermist, Naples, Florida. This is a wonderful specimen, sure to bring enjoyment to anyone who loves to fish. Thank you for looking.

This is a Large to very large Sawtooth sharks bill. The bill about 30 years old, Please look at all the pictures they can tell you more then I can. What I do know is that it has all of it's teeth and the measurements are 37"long, from tooth to tooth it measures 6" at the top and 9 1/2" at the base. The teeth measurements are 1 3/4" long and the are spaced 1 1/2" a part. About midway it has miner tears, think it from landing the fish, refer to pictures

Your looking at a scarce taxidermy of a Large Deep Sea Bass caught in 1910 off of the Eastern Coast of Florida weighed 312 Lbs when caught over 100 years old. It was caught by my Great Grandfather. No reproduction. No fake, authentic, it's in great condition for it's age. They used a old reflector for the eye back then, and the back is pieces of wood/crate. Large 1950's Vintage Reef shark 37" long x 26" tall x 15 1/2" deep. Taxidermy Nautical decor. Good-Fair condition. Most of the teeth have fallen out, have small bag of teeth. Back wood mounting board is rotten. Some minor cracks around the fin/ body. Shark is solid and heavy everywhere besides the board and teeth issue. Most likely teeth could be repaired/ replaced. This could be a wall mount or sits on table as seen just fine with no wobble or worries of falling over. Metal bracket could be removed if desired. To ship this item it will cost extra do to using layers and layers of bubble wrap and extra padding to protect the fins and the large size body. Weighs over 21 pound unpacked. The fins do have some wear and slight curling and the most notable issue is fishes lower lip has been pulled a bit off. I'm not sure of the age of this mount, but considering some of the other pieces that I got in the same collection I'd guess it is from the 50's or the 60's. Buyer pays 12.00 for shipping.
