GEP-ACTIONIZED FLY ROD( 8-&-1/2 ft. LONG) HAS 10 EYES + NORTH SHORE CF3 FLY REEL
This rod and reel set was bought at an auction. And it was pre-owned and used by someone else, I don't fly fish. The rod is a two section rod, splits in the middle, and together it measures about 8 and 1/2 feet long, it has 10 eyelits which includes the tip, and they are all tight, no loose strings. I thought it was a fiberglass rod when I bought it, but a magnet sticks to the entire rod, so its not fiberglass or alluminum. The very end cap of the handle is brass with the number 10213 on it. Then handle end where the reel goes is not metal but rather a marbled colored solid celluloid or something, and it reads: GEP ACTIONIZED ROD. I think the reel can be used Left or Right handed, by just turning the reel around? Then the handle itself is cork, and all in good condition. The reel looks like it was never used, but I can't be sure. ... moreIt reads: NORTH SHORE CF3, and it has no nic's or smudge's anywhere, it is clean. I will mail it in a tube for safe mailing. This is a used fly rod and reel. Rod is#7, excellent condition. Reel is the same with backing, line, and leader, tippet. Rod is autographed by Ted Williams. And the reel has his name engraved. Probably made by martin. But says made by Sears and Roebuck and Co. I have fished with this. It works quite well, still has nice action even when compared to the new carbons. It is 8 ft. 7 inches in length.

FOR AUCTION is a Orvis T3 8 1/2 ft 4pc. 4 wt. Line Mid Flex 8.5 matched with a Battenkill II large arbor reel. This is very nice combo. Light in hand with the rod weighing just 3 onces. The rod is in excellent condition near mint. Only signs of wear is light soiling on the grip with some light tarnish spots on end cap. The reel is in very good condition with some signs wear in the form of light scuffs and scratches. Other than that the reel is in perfect working condition. This combo has been a joy to fish with and would make it's new owner very happy with the way it performs. Ready to be fished. Best offer takes it. Excellent condition, no notable scratches etc. and ferrules not worn down or showing much wear at all. Standard size guides for a 6 or 7 weight. Rod is marked line 6/7. balances well with the reel. Made in England. With factory sock and PVC tube. The fly reel: j.W. Young Beaudex 3 1/2 inch. Narrow spool. made in England. Dual click and pawl drag that is adjustable for right or left hand.
