The trigger on the reel needs cleaned up, it is kinda rusty looking, but works well and looks as though it will clean up. The green reel is a"Mohawk-Horrocks-Ibbotson" Co, Utica-NY#1106. It works very well, but there is no griese in the gears, and does need to be griesed. The rod is is just marked"3500 F G 7' All eyelets are in place and seems to be solid. Thanks for looking.

GEP-ACTIONIZED FLY ROD( 8-&-1/2 ft. LONG) HAS 10 EYES + NORTH SHORE CF3 FLY REEL
This rod and reel set was bought at an auction. And it was pre-owned and used by someone else, I don't fly fish. The rod is a two section rod, splits in the middle, and together it measures about 8 and 1/2 feet long, it has 10 eyelits which includes the tip, and they are all tight, no loose strings. I thought it was a fiberglass rod when I bought it, but a magnet sticks to the entire rod, so its not fiberglass or alluminum. The very end cap of the handle is brass with the number 10213 on it. Then handle end where the reel goes is not metal but rather a marbled colored solid celluloid or something, and it reads: GEP ACTIONIZED ROD. I think the reel can be used Left or Right handed, by just turning the reel around? Then the handle itself is cork, and all in good condition. The reel looks like it was never used, but I can't be sure. ... moreIt reads: NORTH SHORE CF3, and it has no nic's or smudge's anywhere, it is clean. I will mail it in a tube for safe mailing. 2 vintage cane fly rods with automatic fly reel
For auction are 2 8 foot vintage split- cane fly rods. Unknown manufacturer. But I'm 99% sure they're Montaque, possibly the Sunbeam model. Included is an automatic Ted Williams#370 fly reel. Rods are in great condition with all eyelets intact and an extra rod tip. Reel is in excellent condition, works perfectly and has original line on it in good(90% condition. Also included is a vintage Shakespeare wondereel model 1915fe. It is also in working condition, although it has some patina and obvious cosmetic issues with the plastic handles. It could be cleaned up and used on the water, or displayed as is as a really cool piece of American classic fishing gear. Gear like this is getting scarce, and after handling kit like this, you see that they certainly don't make things like they used to!

This package will also include another custom built fly rod that has been barely used. I do not know what the custom blank is. But it appears to be similar to a Loomis GL3 blank(I don't know if it is or not) The custom rod is approximately 8.5 ft 5/6 wt and casts the 5wt line perfectly that is already loaded on the Okuma reel. The Orvis fly rod has been used and still has alot of years left in it. As you can see from the pictures there are a few marks and scratches in the rod. I have this rod for less than a year. Fished it a total of about six times. Same goes for the reel. The reel does have a couple of scratches on it. Honestly the finish on these Mirage reels could be better. But it functions just fine. The only thing I have mainly threw on it was dries. The rod has the tube. Warranty card and even a membership to TU. The reel has the original box and reel pouch. The reel also has brand new line on it. I believe it is either Rio WF light trout 3wt or Triangle Taper. I really can't remember what I put on there. Again just been used a handful of times. Rod is a mid flex which I liked better than the tip flex H2. Great dry fly rod and superb small stream rod. I even have the original plastic for the rod tube. Cork is a little dirty but again rod only used a handful of times. Free shipping!
