This is a like new Cabelas LSi(Line Speed Improved) 6 wt 8' 6" fly rod. You can't find in better condition than mine. Looks new. Cork is excellent and all the alignment dots are in tact. This rod is rated as fast and it is. Fastest rod I have ever owned and a blast to cast. I bought it in order to have a rod that would work on our windier days here in Kansas. I am not an expert caster and I have been able to cast this 90' Most of my fishing is with 3 and 4 wt rods with slower action and this is the only rod I cast that far. I have found that I can double haul on this rod and push the cast as hard and fast as I want. It will eat up any thing you put in it without ever making you feel like you over powered the stroke. Why sell it. I like to fish a lot and most of what I do is small local stuff in ponds and some spill ways from ... morethe lake but I can do all that with one of my 4 wt rods that my wife says I have to many of. The 6 wt will get out to the middle of the ponds but then hooking small fish is not as much fun as it is with one of the 4 wt rods. I just don't reach for it that much any more and as soon as i sell it I am sure someone will call and ask me to go to Montana and do some real fishing and I will wish like hell I still had it but for now it just sits around a lot. The guides and wraps are all solid and the reel seat is in good condition also. The plastic wrap is still on the cork and there is some discoloring on the cork from water getting under the plastic. I have shown this in the last picture. The reel has backing. Fly line and a tapered leader on it. It is in very good condition with no scratches. Thinking of fishing some big water. Than check out this deal. For starters we have a Sage Vantage 9 foot 6 Weight 4 piece rod with a premium cork half wells grip, beautiful wood insert and up locking reel seat. This rod has virtually seen no use and has been sitting in a case in the closet. Here is what the Sweetwater Fly Company thought of the Sage Vantage Rod recently"I am the type of fly fisherman that thinks if one or two rods will do. Then you better own 37 of them. Actually my own personal quiver numbers somewhere around a dozen but there is always room to expand. If you hang around Rosey long enough, he can assist you with whatever excuse you need to buy another one. What I found this year was a need for another 6 weight fly rod. I have a great six weight, but it broke during some violent streamer ripping last fall and I was in ... moreneed in a bad way. I also needed a 9 for six that I could hand to a client in the boat and not worry too much if they strip that 16 inch whitefish all the way to the top guide and then lift the fish out of the water. This a beautiful rod and reel combo set-up: Temple Fork Outfitter NXT Left Kreh Series 9 feet 4 piece rod and and Temple Fork Series I reel. The rod is a gorgeous forest green color and is in perfect condition. With no damage to the guides or anything. It also comes with a very sturdy case, featuring hard plastic along the rod holder part and faux-sheepskin cushioning on the reel holder part. The only damage is a few cosmetic scratches on the reel and a some nicks on the butt end of the rod. Neither of which should affect fishing or be very noticeable cosmetically and both of which are shown in the photos above. I bought this last summer.
