On rod says"Cortland madi in USA PFR 2000 7'1-650-1 Recommended For Line 6 Rod Weight 3 oz" Come with tube, I suspect the one end cap is not original, and a sock. Tube has some tape goo on it. Rod is wonderful, with very slight soiling to grip, does have previous owners name nicely engraved into reel seat(see photo) I have used this rod here in NW Montana and can assure you it works well and has good fish mojo! Custom made plastic tube to protect the rod slides easily into the Cabela's rod case for easy transport(see pictures) This is an awesome fly rod and reel set. The only thing is that the rod has the ring on tip missing that can be replaced(Note: the tip is not broken just ring came off and is missing) Looks like this fly fishing combo was not used much, the cork handle is also in very good condition, reel comes full with fly line. It says used. But it is a near new Sage VT2 fly rod. 690-4(6wt, 9 foot, 4 piece) in factory tube and Galvan Spoke Fly Reel S-5(5-6 wt) The rod and reel have not been fished only casted a few times. The reel comes with new 6wt Orvis WF line. The rod is medium fast. This outfit would cost over $900 when new. There is NO BOX for the reel but does have original case. Will ship in two separate containers.

Classic Sage Rod. I am the original owner. I have moved up to a new rod. This is a two-piece rod. The rod shows signs of normal wear. Few scratches, no physical damage. Original rod sock included, however, the rod did not come with a rod tube, I keep it in a homemade pvc tube. The reel has some surface scratches, it is loaded with SA GPX 5wt line. Still plenty of fish to catch with this outfit. Thanks for looking. S&H is $20 due to the size of rod.
