This 5 piece rod includes cork handle rod. Extension rod and 3 tips to provided different lengths and weight of line. The labeling is partially missing, but the NIPPON is visible on the handle piece. Some of the coating on the rod is worn away and missing. The rod tips are good and clean with no pitting. Accessories include a reel which is pitted and dirty and has old line; spinning lures; a fly labeled Black Gnat- S. Allcock and Co. Redditch, Eng. Pflueger Split Shot in metal can; BB shot in wooden container and the box. Box is dented. The sliding covers are included but not in slides. The label in the box reads Sportsman Trading Co- Ltd, Japan.

VINTAGE ORIGINAL POST WWII SPLIT BAMBOO FLY/CAST FISHING ROD KIT This auction is for a vintage five piece Post WW II“White Bear” split bamboo fly and casting rod combination kit with original wooden storage box. The kit includes 18 assorted hand tied flies. Silk gut leader material, snelled hooks and a unique pair of scissors all protected by a plastic covering. The rod is in excellent condition and I do not believe it has ever been used. There is a 100% intact White Bear decal on the handle. The rod can be assembled into a three piece 8’ fly rod or a two piece 5.6’ casting rod. All sections measure 33 ½” I would estimate the fly line weight to be a four-five. The 6 1/8” cork handle and screw down lock reel seat are in excellent condition. There is a crack on the female ferrule on the handle section. I believe this may have occurred ... moreduring the years this rod has been in storage. There are two snake eye guides on the fly rod mid section and three on each tip section. The casting tip section has three guides. There is a stripper guide and hook keeper on the bottom section. The rod fits together perfectly when assembled and has the distinct“pop” sound when pulled apart. All of the sections are straight. The wooden storage box is also in great condition. Vintage Fly & Cast/Leader Drying Tin by C. Farlow & Co, ca. 1920s
This is a rather old. Round tin, which contains two felt pads between which you can dry off your fishing flies and leader lines. The inside of the lid has a little brass plaque with the maker’s name: C. Farlow& Co. Followed by their London address(see photo) The tin is 13.3cm in diameter and 2.5cm high. The outside has been lacquered black and the inside beige. Probably enamelled. Both. The outer and inner coatings are flaking in places, and the drying pads show that they have been used regularly, but they certainly still do the job. And the tin is structurally totally sound, ready to be used for another long time to come. First Class Recorded Delivery within the UK is £3.65. The honey-colored cane and varnish finish are excellent. The casting action is awesome and this classic wand would be right at home on creeks, streams, and lakes. It will also make a great display.

RARE VINTAGE CAST IRON JAPANESE TEAPOT TETSUBIN WITH DRAGON FLY DESIGN
Rare vintage Japanese Cast Iron Teapot. There are similar teapots on Ebay now but I have not seen one exactly like this one, it is made of cast iron with a gold finish, there are two dragon flies on each side of the teapot, the head of the dragon flies become the holder of each end of the handle, the inside appears to be finished with an enamel or porcelain coating. The symbol cast into the bottom is the only identifying mark, measures approx. 5 1/2 inches wide by approx. 4 inches tall and weighs approx. 2 1/2 pounds, it does have some oxidation in a few spots. Vintage antique Pflueger trade mark Taxie made in USA fishing reel. This is in good shape. Has a very small bend on one edge but is hard to notice. It measures 5” wide by 1.5” deep. In order to keep its antique look and value I did not and will not clean this and the original copper wire line will not be removed. What you see is what you get! Vintage Post WWII Japan Sakura Split Bamboo Fly or Cast Rod in Original Box
An old post war reel with split bamboo construction and it's handle is reversible for either fly fishing or casting(see eyelet variations photos 5-6) There is an extra ferrule piece insert piece(photo 8) that I'm not sure what it's for. Three different rod tip sections(1 casting and 2 fly) each approx 31 1/2" long. Believe it will make a 64" casting rod and there is even a fold down finger lever(photo 9) for casting. Makes an alomost 8' fly reel with 2 available tip end sections. It's used but looks to be in good condition with tight eyelets all present and tight bamboo seams nicely wrapped. Comes with original box and still has the label with lure storage compartments and sliding covers. Vintage Bamboo Fly- Cast combo Rod- 7 piece- very unusual
A very interesting 7 piece Bamboo fly- casting combo rod. With adapter it can be made into 3 different size rods. The handle can be turned around- for fly or cast? although all the guides look all fly to me. It makes into two 7'6" one with light tip and one with heavier tip. And a 9'6" light fly rod. The bag fits all the pieces- but is in rough shape The overall condition is very good+. The wraps. And guides are very good- a couple of guides are loose- not bad. Cork is nice and full. All sections are correct length, with a slight bow on a few. The metal has some tarnish. Has a small nick on the reel seat. See all the pictures for condition. And please email me with any questions. You are looking at a near mint condition Alvey Side Cast 500-C5 fly reel. It comes with a new. Unopened spare spool. The box has some wear and tear, but the reel is in superb shape. This is a very cool old reel that allows you to cast like an openfaced spinning reel, but retrieve like a fly reel. Measures approximately 5 inches across. It is in good h onest used condition with some wear and tarnish(see clear picture to decide before bidding) It is a stamped Richard Wheatley Silmalloy fly and cast container and contains some nice assorted flies. Some larger some smaller and some Hardy packets and a fly to cast. The packets appear to have been used with the exception of the hook packet. Rare "Queen Bee" Vintage Fly & Cast Bamboo Rod w/ 2 tips,2 Socks, Old Wood Tube
Rare Bamboo Fishing Rod! Queen Bee" Logo on rod and embossed logo on very old Original wood tube. Bamboo rod has good varnish and 5 straight parts for fly or spin casting. Cork has minor dents at base. Good reel seat and smooth tightening shaft. All ferrules are tight and intact. What's missing is an eye at end of one tip(see photo) And another eye in a mid-section. There is one loose eye included that needs reattachment(see photo) I've included two sock rod covers.
