Used Scientific Anglers Mastery Series reel Made in England and Orvis Rocky Mountain 9 foot 8wt 3-3/14 oz. fly rod. This looks like a well used set but functional. Reel is smooth winding with nice soft click. Has line but not sure what size, one little ding shown in pic#9 some paint wear on drag. Rod is well used also with little cork chip shown in pic#7 and scuffs on eye windings. All eyes are there as well as tip, rust on first eye. Drag works on reel, looks like it is set up for left handed,do not know if it can be reversed.

Selling an Echo Ion 9' 8wt Fly Rod with a Lamson Konic Reel loaded with backing and Rio Saltwater WF line. The fly rod and reel have been used 6-10 times in the last year and are in near perfect condition and it will come in an Echo Ion hard tube case. The reel has backing and a high quality Rio fly line on it. I just can't remember the specific name but it is for saltwater. This package cost me nearly $450 to put together after tax. Vintage Shakespeare Fiberglass Alpha FY1310 Fly Rod 7'5" 7/8WT
This is a Vintage Fiberglass Fly Rod 7'5" in length and usable. My first fly rod was A Heddon Pal when I was 10 som 58 yrs ago. later It was a Shalespeare alpha FY 1310 I think. This is an 8 foot rod-7" 7/8 wt. If I recall correctly. It was purchased at store in the 1970s Richards hardware in Rhode Island West Warwick. Anyone know anything about these rods will say they are Fiberglas like the new ones but a tad heavier. This is not that rod but one bought at a local yard sale standing tall in a corner. I put a modern 6wt line on it a few days ago and I could cast it with no problem. It was far better with one of the old nylon core fly lines(a 6 wt also. But it seems so much heavier than the modern 6 wt lines 1oz makes a diff at 69) Anyway. I just let you know it is 7'5" and not 8' I learned this after purchase. ... moreI assume since it is Vintage that it is a desirable rod. It does have a slow action and feels a little stiff compared to modern fly rods. I think I might have to go fish with this rod again some again soon if it doesn't sell. I remember being able to roll cast like crazy with this rod when I was a kiddo. Used to catch Trout.Bass,Crappie, with hair poppers on Rivers near our home. Still has a kick to it and many miles.

Redington CPX 9' 8wt. This is a very fast rod and a great all around rod for salt. Bass, etc. I am including an Allen Alpha 7/8wt reel as well. I wouldn't recommend the real for salt water use as the drag is not sealed but it was a very serviceable bass reel for me since I bought it. The rod is in excellent condition and was well taken care of. The cork has some slight discoloration from dirt and use but there is no damage anywhere on the rod. Albright Fly Rod and Reel Tradewind TRW.908-4 Fly Rod, 9' 8wt 4pc with extras
This is actually 2 different 8 weight fly rods that I use together. On the first Albright rod. With the reel attached to the 1st section, the tip section is missing. On the 2nd rod the 2nd section got broken. The 2nd rod is the same as a Sage Xi2, it came with 2 tips, so I just started using the tip sections from the 2nd rod with the Albright rod. The sections fit together perfectly, and fish great. It is hardly noticeable with the rod put together, but the Albright rod is green and the Sage is blue. What you get in this auction is the 2 rods, an Okuma Integrity I 8/9 reel, neoprene reel cover, and a rod sock that can hold all of it. The reel is used with a few scratches, but the drag still works well. It comes with 30 pound gel spun backing, WF9F line, and a leader.

This rod has been used maybe twice. The cork shows it(looks like it hasn't been touched) this is a wonderful opportunity to get a great rod at a cheap price. It comes fully READY TO FISH with a 6/7 Ion reel and 20lb backing with an 8wt WF fly line. Its a great rod to get out on the water with and start chasing steelhead and salmon with.

The rods are a TFO BVK 4pc 9ft 8wt, a TFO Lefty Kreh pro series 4 pc 9ft 8wt, a TFO 340 large arbor reel(8wt floating line with 100 yards backing) and a fleece lined TFO case that holds two rods and up to two reels. Everything is in great condition, the Lefty Kreh rod has been used 3 times and the BVK rod once. The reel is really clean, it has a couple small scratches but looks good and works perfect. The case is a hard case at the rod tubes and padded fleece at the reels. It needs a little cleaning but is in good condition with no rips, zipper works great. If you have any questions please ask. Redington PATH 890-4 Fly Rod Outfit 8WT 4PC w/8WT RIO Mainstream & Travel Case
Includes fully rigged 8 weight outfit with rod. Reel, backing, line and travel case. Used infrequently for about 1 season. Selling because I don't chase a lot of 8-weight caliber fish! Rod blank is in near-perfect condition and cork shows no signs of pitting or degradation. Reel and reel seat look good. Smooth and strong center-based disc drag on the reel. Line shows wear from use but performs well. Spooled with orange 20lb test Dacron backing that transitions to white near the arbor. As well as Redington's choice line for the outfit, RIO Mainstream WF8F floating line. Great rod for casting big heavy flies. Performs well throwing bass bugs and streamers but can also place smaller flies reasonably well. If you want to catch bass, saltwater species, Alaskan trout/salmon, or any other predatory fish on the fly, grab this rod!
