This only applies to particularly large or odd shaped guitars. This allows it to be safer and reduce shipping time on my end. I use custom ordered boxes(200lb crushproof) but they sometimes are not big enough for bass and unusual shaped guitars. So I need to take them down to fit. TFO- TEMPLE FORK OUTFITTERS PACKAGE Included in this sale are 2 rods. 1 reel, and case. The rods are a TFO BVK 4pc 9ft 8wt, a TFO Lefty Kreh pro series 4 pc 9ft 8wt, a TFO 340 large arbor reel(8wt floating line with 100 yards backing) and a fleece lined TFO case that holds two rods and up to two reels. Everything is in great condition, the Lefty Kreh rod has been used 3 times and the BVK rod once. The reel is really clean, it has a couple small scratches but looks good and works perfect. The case is a hard case at the rod tubes and padded fleece at the reels. It needs a little cleaning but is in good condition with no rips, zipper works great. If you have any questions please ask. Unique 6 piece, 5 weigth, 9 foot, TFO Lefty Kreh Professional Series Travel Rod
This TFO Lefty Kreh Professional Series 1 rod is unique in that it was the only 9 foot. 6 piece rod made by TFO. I've included the original brochure showing that it was offered in a 5 wt. 6 wt. 8wt. 9 foot rod. It is also is the only rod made by TFO that came with a factory logo rod case. Great travel or backup rod. Comes with a TFO cordura canvas covered rod case that is only 22 3/4" in length. Case also has a carrying strap. Rod's action is medium/fast and if fishing inside of 40 feet it performs better with a 6 weight line. I used this rod as a backup and fished with it very little. I remember one full day using it. But I probably used it a couple of other times. The rod is perfect with the exception the cork is not perfectly clean like a new one. I never filled out the warranty card. I do not think it matters. For $25, TFO ... morewill fix any TFO rod or provide a new one in the event of breakage. While TFO rods are a value priced item. And will never be a SAGE, WINSTON or other high end rod, this one has some uniqueness that might be attractive to someone.
