It is the 4 piece 7 foot 6 inch combination(The end of the rod has been broken off by 5" making this rod closer to 7' Please see pictures. Trailmaster fly fishing/spin fishing rod made by Wright McGill Eagle Claw in the USA. The rod is converted by reversing the handle and is shown in the spin fishing configuration. This one has the desirable mini ferrules. As a fly rod it is balanced for 7 weight line but throws either 6 weight or 8 weight lines pretty comfortably. It is rated for 10 pound mono. This is very rare Fenwick Rod and Reel Combo. Reel is a Fenwick Class 4 reel. Set up for right hand retrieve and very rare. Condition I would rate a 7 through 1 through 10. A few scratches but very good condition and mechanically perfect. The rod is a custom.Very good condition Fenwick FL109-10. Which is a 4 piece. 9-foot rod 10 weight rated. It has a Fuji down locking seat with rec recoil guides. It cast anything from an 8 wt through a 10 wt. It has a soft tip but can bomb cast out when power is applied. It is a full flex rod but has a soft. I've used this combo to catch redfish in saltwater. Comes with leather real case in canvas tube. Line not included. St. Croix Imperial Fly Fishing Rod 9' 5 wt and Orvis Clearwater Classic Reel
I bought this rod and then got a job as an Orvis endorsed guide and had to fish only Orvis rods. So this St. Croix was used as a backup maybe two or three times. The rod is in near-mint condtion. The case is a little road weary as it's traveled a lot. The reel has seen some use, but is a sold reel with a 5 wt double taper line that still has a lot of life in it. Everything you need to go fishing but the flies! I need a saltwater rod, so my loss is your gain!
