Early Vintage Heddon # 15 DOWAGIAC Bamboo Cast Rod
For sale is a very early vintage(patented 1908) Heddon# 15 DOWAGIAC bamboo cast rod with a bag. Bag(with four pouches for a 4 section fly rod) is not original to the rod. Has some has some stains running horizontal, primarily in the middle section, likely from the varnish when rod was refinished. No rips or tears in the cloth, no labels or markings. Rod itself has been revarnished and guide bindings possibly replaced, there is sign of wear on the cork handle(see photo#10) The top end section of the rod has a slight curve to it(see photo#12) that could likely be straightened out by a skilled craftsman. Two guides are not on the rod(see photos#7& 8) they apparently fell off but they are in hand and will be included with the rod& bag. VINTAGE ORIGINAL POST WWII SPLIT BAMBOO FLY/CAST FISHING ROD KIT This auction is for a vintage five piece Post WW II“White Bear” split bamboo fly and casting rod combination kit with original wooden storage box. The kit includes 18 assorted hand tied flies. Silk gut leader material, snelled hooks and a unique pair of scissors all protected by a plastic covering. The rod is in excellent condition and I do not believe it has ever been used. There is a 100% intact White Bear decal on the handle. The rod can be assembled into a three piece 8’ fly rod or a two piece 5.6’ casting rod. All sections measure 33 ½” I would estimate the fly line weight to be a four-five. The 6 1/8” cork handle and screw down lock reel seat are in excellent condition. There is a crack on the female ferrule on the handle section. I believe this may have occurred ... moreduring the years this rod has been in storage. There are two snake eye guides on the fly rod mid section and three on each tip section. The casting tip section has three guides. There is a stripper guide and hook keeper on the bottom section. The rod fits together perfectly when assembled and has the distinct“pop” sound when pulled apart. All of the sections are straight. The wooden storage box is also in great condition. The honey colored cane and varnish finish are excellent. Check out all 17of the full screen high quality pictures to fully appreciate this gorgeous rod. This auction is for a rare early Turner Bros. Telescoping 2-Piece Fishing Rod Tube complete with Locking Metal Push Button Cap and Original Paper Label in excellent condition. I believe this one dates to the 1930’s-1940’s and is constructed of a hard fiber material with metal caps on both ends. Has a brown/ maroon color, the paper tag reads“Turner Bros. Wellington Ohio Fine Protection For Fishing Rods” measures approximately 49” long when completely closed, the short section measures 2 ¼” outside diameter and the long section measures 2” outside diameter, when completely opened it extends to approximately 76” long before the two pieces separate and it actually creates a vacuum as you close so you can adjust length. This is a great early fishing collectible a neat one to protect your vintage bamboo fly, spinning or bait cast rods. this is a 2 piece fiberglass rod. rod and reel are used. ANTIQUE ORNATE IRON ARROW Measures 22.75" long. There are no breaks. Cracks, or repairs to this fancy old arrow. An eBay search shows me it looks just like a Kretzer but I don't see the name where it usually is. See my last photo. Don't know if they were ever unmarked or if it could wear down that much? We are not weathervane people. There is no glass. See photo 8.Should there be something there to hold the glass? We suspect so.Probably an easy fix for those accustomed to working with weathervanes.

This auction is for a vintage Shakespeare Criterion Level-Winding No. 1960 Fishing Reel. The side of the reel also says"Made In Kalamazoo U.S.A. Honor Built. Honor Sold" This reel is missing it's handle. It's difficult to tell if it's in working order. When the part that the handle attaches to, is turned by hand, it seems to be winding properly. This reel shows some wear, and some light scratches, here and there throughout. All writing on the reel is clear and easy to read. Overall, it is a nice old, heavy-duty reel. ANTIQUE VINTAGE CAST IRON ART DECO VICTORIAN ADJUSTABLE CURTAIN ROD SIGN HOLDER
This is a beautiful collection old antique curtain rods that can double purpose as sign holders if you like. My 101 year old grandmother just past and these were found in here attic. I am not sure of the age but they appear to be in nice condition with a very nice patina. Each unit comes with 6-7 rings on them. They are 4 brackets and 11 larger rings that you can see in the photos. I am not sure what is original or if everything is there so please look closely at the pictures and let me know if you have any questions. I am not an expert but I will help in any way that I can. I'm selling a SAGE Xi3 fly rod. It is the 1290-4 which is a 4 piece 9 foot 12wt rod with the lengthened grip for excellent leverage on monster fish. I took this rod to the Everglades last week and cast it once at tarpon. I then fished for other species the rest of the time with other rods. Thus. But for five minutes, this rod hasn't been used.
