On rod says"Cortland madi in USA PFR 2000 7'1-650-1 Recommended For Line 6 Rod Weight 3 oz" Come with tube, I suspect the one end cap is not original, and a sock. Tube has some tape goo on it. Rod is wonderful, with very slight soiling to grip, does have previous owners name nicely engraved into reel seat(see photo) I have used this rod here in NW Montana and can assure you it works well and has good fish mojo! 9 foot Cortland fly rod with a Okuma Integrity 1 7/8 reel and mountain cork case
Cortland all graphite GRF-1000. This rod is as smooth and accurate as ANY rod I have ever had my hands on. It is a slow action that would be closest to the Superfine by Orvis or the G series by Scott but in my opinion. Smoother and better casting than either one of them. This is a 6/7 weight rod. The rod comes complete with an Okuma integrity 1 7/8 reel with line. It also comes and an Okuma fly six compartment fly box with spring loaded glass lids on each compartment. This rod comes with its own Mountain Cork hard rod case with a compartment for your fly box, extra line or spare reel etc. Perfect shape with very little use. This whole outfit looks pretty new. Up for auction is a Cortland CL graphite 7' 3/4 wt fly rod and Orvis Rocky Mountain Reel loaded with used 4wt Weight Forward Floating Fly Line and Backing. In addition. I am including an Orvis reel case, new 7.5' leader and a dozen hand tied flies by me that will catch fish anywhere. The rod and reel are about seven(7) years old and have caught a few fish. For the last four years, the rod/reel have been stored and not in use. That being said, everything is in good working order and ready to go. Cortland 9ft 8/9 wt 2pc Rod and Reel Combo
Up for sale is my Cortland Steelhead Rod and Reel Combination. The rod is a 9 foot 8/9 weight 2 piece manufactured by Cortland. The reel is also manufactured by Cortland. It is a CLX IV Cassette Reel. It is easily adjusted from left to right hand retrieve by following the instructions in the owners manual which is included. The reels drag is very smooth and adjusts from very light to truck stopping strong. The reel comes loaded with backing and an 8 weight floating fly line. The fly line is weight forward for easy casting of big flies and is in very good condition. The rod has some good mojo going for it as you can see by the pictures of some of the fish it has landed. It accounted for helping me land all five species of pacific salmon including king. Chum, pink, red and silvers while fishing in Alaska. It also accounted for a 7 pound brown ... morefrom a Lake Ontario tributary. Also included is the rod tube which protected my rod on my various excursions. It is a Cabelas double rod tube which will fit two rods up to nine feet in length. Both the rod and reel are in very good condition. Need some extra money so sadly it is time to part ways. I hope it finds its way to a good home where it will continue to make memories for somebody else.

Harnell Fly Rod. Trout Action, Cortland 444 Fly Reel + Bag's& Tube Harnell Fly Rod. Trout Action, 7' 0" its not written on there but probably uses Fly Line No. 6. Rod was restored by myself, in the restoration I added a winding check and hook keeper two things I think Harnell should have but never did on their original builds, I don't know why they left these out? All wraps, ferrules, guides, reel seat and cork there and in very good condition. Has its custom rod bag and aluminum tube also in good condition. Cortland 444 Fly Reel in good condition. This reel was built by the same company that made Ted Williams Fly Reels in the 60's. Very well made! Everything works as it should, one button spool release, drag, clicker and reels smoothly. Has its reel bag also in good condition, bottom of bag messed up a little, see ... morepictures and zipper works well. Here's a very nice Harnell-Cortland Fly Fishing Outfit. Trout Action. Outfit would of been something you would have purchased in the late 60's- early 70's and would have been on the high end. If the reel has been used it was very lightly, there are no scratches, rubs or nicks, any you see are camera glare. These old Harnell Fly Rods are well worth restoring, they have a great action and will not disappoint. I have not fished this rod but have lawn cast it, it casts a DT6 really well and makes great presentations. It has a beautiful light action and should be a blast to catch fish with. Rod& Reel are in very good condition and should give many years of service. Fished or collected it will not disappoint! Be sure to check my other auctions there's some really nice fishing items.
