The listed capacity is 100 yds. of 20 lb. dacron with a WF3F line, and 75 yds. with a WF4F. The reel is in very nice shape. There are finish rubs on the reel foot from being on a rod. The frame and spool have no scratches. Except for a"4" the previous owner etched onto the interior side of the spool. The reel has some backing and a WF-4-F fly line, which, from the partial sticker and sunrise color, I believe to be a Scientific Anglers Ultra 4 line. It's an older model line, but still looks decent to me. The reel is set up for left hand retrieve, and is reversible to right hand wind. With the reel comes a zippered Orvis pouch in excellent shape. The reel is an Early 90s LL Bean Quest 5wt MADE IN AMERICA back then. The rod is a QUEST 2 Rod was made by LOOMIS for Bean. Its a well made 2 pc glass rod. The reel is probably made by Martin for Bean. This is the original LL Bean set purchased in the 1989. Comes with case. I'm the original owner and it has always been in a case when not fishing.even when I hiked in I kept it in its case. It has never touched salt water! Its list of streams include the Loyalsock. Ridley Creek, Lums pond, Lake Jean, Any of you PA guys should know these waters! This is an excellent beginners rod with great casting ability for all the round fly fisher. it develops as you develop. I have used this for trout on streams and blue-gill and bass on the ponds. As I became more proficient. I retired this rod over 15 yrs ago only to use. It to teach Nieces and Nephews ... morethe fun of fly fishing. I have a very lightly used Orvis 4wt fly fishing combo for sale. The whole package is absolutely mint with the exception of a tiny scratch on the bottom edge of the reel frame. I couldn't get the scratch to show up in the pics. It's so small. I am very particular about my gear and its care. I only used the combo four times for wild trout. It casts like a dream. The rod is an Orvis Superfine Touch 8'4wt, 4 piece, Full Flex in mint condition. In my opinion this is the best looking rod Orvis has ever produced. It was $500. It comes with the rod sock and carbon fiber tube. The reel is an Orvis CFO II in a bronze color with real wood handle. It is loaded with Orvis' top of the line Hydros Superfine WF-4-F 4wt trout line and backing. It has one very small scratch on the bottom edge of the reel frame. You really have to be looking ... morefor it to see it. It comes with the padded reel case. The reel was $300 and the line was $90. I'm also including a new Orvis Safe Passage travel case that holds the rod and reel and also has a zippered pouch for accessories. This was $120. All in all.
