For sale is my super sweet Redington Voyant 9ft 5wt Fly Rod. It is not even half a year old but I must part with it after getting a higher end 5wt Sage Rod as a gift. I would love to keep this one but the wife wouldn't have it! I am including a really nice. Unbranded light weight, large arbor anodized smoke colored, cnc machined aluminum reel. I purchased this reel at the same time I bought the rod, so it too, is less than 6 months old. I will also include a nice black pvc/cordura Redington rod tube with dividers as well. The rod and reel are in great functional condition and have a few minor scuffs on the aluminum butt off the rod. And on the edges of the reel/spool from river rock. This rod saw the river only 5 times and was used primarily on the shore of a small pond once a week or so, so wear and tear is minimal and the combo looks ... moregreat otherwise. I tried my best to capture the scuff marks in the photos. I bought this rod after some stellar recommendation from experienced friends and after reading a few stellar reviews. I was honestly. Never disappointed. It feels powerful for a 5wt. I am able to double haul tight accurate loops with it to 70ft and cast size 18 dries, delicately with it. I caught everything from 5lbs large mouth, 16inch browns and countless bluegill that all felt so sweet on this rod. This fit and finish may not be as fine as $800 rod, but blind folded, I think it feels just as good. The reel is an unbranded nice quality reel with a modern drag system. I got on ebay from china(guess where most of our fine"American" reels are made) The anondized smoke color matches the smoke colored hardware in the reel seat really nicely. Orvis Clearwater II 865-4 Tip 9.5 Fly Rod & Orvis Access Mid Arbor III Reel
This is a great combo! This is a very good condition Orvis Clearwater II 865-4 Tip 9.5 fly rod. This also comes with a very good condition Orvis Access Mid Arbor III reel and flyline. The flyline is still in pretty good shape. Could easily get a couple seasons out of it. All in all a very nice combo for the money. There is also an Orvis Hard Case with this as well. PayPal only.
