When I got it I immediately swapped the line out and that line is now back on the rod and unused(it's a different color than pictured) The rod and reel are in good shape. Redington Crosswater Flyrod, 9' 9wt With Upgraded Reel Seat
Here is a redington crosswatwer 9' 9wt fly rod. Very little use and in good shape with normal signs of use on the cork handle. The original reel seat was upgrade to a Pac Bay fighting butt cap and extra strong Pac Bay aluminum reel seat. A good rod for someone wanting to get their feet wet in saltwater or steelhead/ salmon flyfishing and not wanting to spend too much. Please refer to the photos. REDINGTON CROSSWATER 9' 5 WT 2 PC FLYROD OUTFIT - "READY TO FISH"
Here's a beautiful Crosswater rod that's in great condition. I've used it only a couple of times as a back-up outfit. Its an easy to cast outfit for beginners or use it as a spare, like I did. The graphics are really nice, the ferrules are perfect as well as the guides and the reel seat. The cork has some light soiling from the couple of times I used it. The reel handle has a couple of nicks which doesnt affect performance, they can be buffed out. You will also get the reel which is a Crosswater model 4/5/6 and the backing plus its loaded with 5 weight floating fly line and a loop at the end. I will also throw in the cotton rod sock. I purchased it as a complete outfit so its balanced. You are getting it all at a great price, its ready to fish!
