This is a Guidleine Fario 7 1/2 foot 3 weight trout rod with a reelmaster trout reel. the reel comes loaded with backing a weight forward floating line that balances on the rod. The rod is in almost new condition with hardly any wear on the cork handle. the reel shows some signs of normal light use with a couple of small scuffs on the rim. There is no makers mark or other identifying information on the rod. I purchased from a local antiques store many years ago. I purchased the reel a number of years ago on Ebay. It is a Peerless knock off. I have used it on the water a couple of times, but really it has been more for decoration. The net is just a simple wooden net that I picked up along the way. They are almost worn off and difficult to read. The rod is 8'6" in length with a cork hand grip area. The rod is a black gloss in color with Gold tone, and green graphics. The reel is a Martin#62. It comes with some line already on the spool. I'm not sure of the length or quality of the line. The reel has signs of wear in the finish but has been touch up. Don't look that bad. Vintage Shakespeare Fiberglass Alpha FY1310 Fly Rod 7'5" 7/8WT
This is a Vintage Fiberglass Fly Rod 7'5" in length and usable. My first fly rod was A Heddon Pal when I was 10 som 58 yrs ago. later It was a Shalespeare alpha FY 1310 I think. This is an 8 foot rod-7" 7/8 wt. If I recall correctly. It was purchased at store in the 1970s Richards hardware in Rhode Island West Warwick. Anyone know anything about these rods will say they are Fiberglas like the new ones but a tad heavier. This is not that rod but one bought at a local yard sale standing tall in a corner. I put a modern 6wt line on it a few days ago and I could cast it with no problem. It was far better with one of the old nylon core fly lines(a 6 wt also. But it seems so much heavier than the modern 6 wt lines 1oz makes a diff at 69) Anyway. I just let you know it is 7'5" and not 8' I learned this after purchase. ... moreI assume since it is Vintage that it is a desirable rod. It does have a slow action and feels a little stiff compared to modern fly rods. I think I might have to go fish with this rod again some again soon if it doesn't sell. I remember being able to roll cast like crazy with this rod when I was a kiddo. Used to catch Trout.Bass,Crappie, with hair poppers on Rivers near our home. Still has a kick to it and many miles.

Antique FLY FISHING ROD with Reel by MARTIN 63, USA, One Piece Aluminum
I don't know how old this vintage 70 inch overall Fly Casting Rod is. But I think it's one piece and made of aluminum. It has a finish coat on it that appears to simulate wood, and has a 24" long wooden grip with aluminum attachment parts for the reel. The bottom two rod eyelets are missing the circles to contain the line, but not being a fisherman I don't know if they're missing by design or accident. The top two do have the small circles containing the line, which is an approximate 3 foot length of monofilament line attached to the very long fly line, which is probably designed to float and is left on the reel. The reel measures 3" in diameter and has a"Precision Martin Fishing Reel" logo on it, with a number 63 and Made in USA on it too. Fin Nor No. 3 fly reel and peen international fly rod reel combo
Very nice Fin-Nor No. 3 reel with a Penn International 1090 SPT 9 foot rod for#10 line. Reel has minor scratches and 1 small nick as seen in photos but is fully functional and very smooth. Reel has anti-reverse. Rod is in great shape with minor pitting on rod tip eye as seen in photo no pitting on other eyes and all area in contact with line are fine. Reel has backing on it. No fly line. Rod handle is cork and in great shape. Very nice balance. Very smooth drag. Rod case zipper is sticky but works. I have caught yellow fin tuna and red fish on this, drag is perfect. It is great for salt or fresh water from trout to tarpon and sail fish. This is a top notch rig! I will ship next day after payment. Good luck bidding and fishing.

I bought them together used. 20 or so years ago, much in the condition they are now, though I replaced the fly line at that time. I fished them for one season, graduated to a graphite, then placing this outfit on the wall rack where it's lived until now. The ROD: RF76 3 1/2 oz Line HDH-HCF- 6 MADE IN U.S.A Manufacturer:Phillipson Rod& Tackle Co. Model: Phillipson Royal RF76 Fly Rod Length: 7' 6" Handle: Cigar Configuration: 2/1 Weight: 3 oz. Markings: Phillipson Royal"World's Finest" Logo- RF76 3 oz. Line HDH-HCF#6 MADE IN U.S.A. Circa: 1969-70 Condition: Very Good Material: Hollow Fiberglass Rod is in Good to Very Good vintage condition. Shows wear from honest use. Original hook-keeper ring is missing. ... moreFerrules are in great shape. Assemble easily& the fit is snug. Cork grip is Good: Previous owner used the grip as the hook keeper, so the cork has a few light snags, along with two minor chipped areas. All spiral- snake' guides& tip are excellent. The wraps are also in great shape, with the exception of those above the grip& at the ferrule. They have a couple of very minor fraying tips, as in just beginning to fray, but no thread loss& finish is intact. Overall finish is Very Good: some scattered gentle'rub' wear& one small chipped ding above the'h' in the Phillipson logo. There is some abrasion loss of the anodized finish on the grip butt. This is a used fly rod and reel. Rod is#7, excellent condition. Reel is the same with backing, line, and leader, tippet. Rod is autographed by Ted Williams. And the reel has his name engraved. Probably made by martin. But says made by Sears and Roebuck and Co. I have fished with this. It works quite well, still has nice action even when compared to the new carbons. It is 8 ft. 7 inches in length.
