The larger one holds, I think, 70 flies there are 10 rows of 7 hooks it measures about 5.25 by 3.5 inches. Up for bid is a vintage aluminum fly box with lures and 1 felt pad. There are 3 lures with hooks. I do not see any marks on 2. The other is clearly marked. HEDDON POP EYE. The 2 small ones are made of some sort of composite. The large one is metal. The box measures 8.5"x 4"x 1" There is a covered compartment on both ends of the box. There are some surface scratches but no dents. The lid does not close tightly and I'm not sure why. Here are 25 vintage flies which have feathers and thread tied to single hooks. There are numerous colors including brown/silver/black. White, red/yellow, red/yellow, black, black/white, yellow, and red/white. The feathers appear to be real, however I do not know for sure. Vintage Two Compartment Aluminum Perrine Fly Fishing Box Loaded with Flies
For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this Caddis Fly Box loaded with flies. Right out of an old Denver estate it is an 6 inch x 4 inch aluminum box with a divider. There is no makers mark on the box but it is an early Perrine. One side has small compartments for nymphs. Snelled flies or streamers and the divider clips shut so that they won't fall out. The other has roll spring clips for bigger flies. It has more than 90 flies, some wet flies, some dry and some nymphs which range all the way from a size 20 hook to a size 10 long hook. It is an eclectic lot that would cover almost any trout fishing need from tiny gray hackles to big hoppers. Condition is as you see it in the photos. We use to gather beer bottles from the bar ditch which we redeemed for $.03 each and when we got a couple of dollars we would pedal our bikes about 2 miles to a lodge/ bait shop that sold these type flys for for $.45@ Needless to say we were extremely careful to not get them hung up in the willow trees that lined our mountain streams!

Antique Metal Celluloid Aluminum Fly Fishing Feather Flies Hook Set with Case
This is an old metal case that is about 1/2 full of feather flishing fly flies for fly fishing. The case measures 6 x 3.5 x 1 and is in pretty rough condition. It has hardly no visible paint. Rust, scratches, and dents. It weighs about 10 ounces. When we were finally able to pry it open, we found feather fly hooks for fishing inside. The insides both have have a celluloid backing, and there is a middle panel that moves back and forth that looks to be aluminum. Each of these little hooks have delicate feathers tied to them, some are really nice colors, rich brownsm reds, black and white stripes, etc. Most are about 1/2 inch in length, all under one inch. I'd guess there are at least 50 of them. Note, though, some are rough as the case rusted inside, too9, there are some that are damaged, but several still look pretty nice. There is no ... moredate or indication of a manufacturer name on this tin case of flies, purely a mystery. Purchased from an estate auction, down in the bottom of an old box of kitchen stuff! Enjoy! Perrine makes a high quality aluminum box which is quite heavy duty. It is in superb condition. No dings, or slight dimples anywhere. The previous owner put a piece of masking tape on one side stating"wet-flies" It will come off with a little soap and water. You're bidding on the Perrine aluminum case and contents as pictured.
